not sure if I'm "rewarding" or "reinforcing" :) (and not exactly sure of the distinction lol)
I have a glass jar on my desk in my home office. that I put quarters in for healthy behaviors. Last month I bought myself a pedicure using the quarters. For July I am aiming for $50 in my jar, then I'm going shopping for some new clothes.
some of the things I get a quarter for are:
15 mins of exercise
making my bed
putting on makeup
remembering to take vitamins and meds
tracking all my food
staying within calorie range
7 hours of sleep
doing something different for exercise.
resisting specific food temptations. (such as when the boys order pizza)
All the so called "secrets of success"will not work ... unless you do.
