Awesome. I'll have more places to dig around for recipes. I like trying new things and wanted some opinions to help! :)

I'm ready for a lifestyle change to better health. I have a long way to go but am ready to get there.

I enjoy "Diabetic Living" magazine's site, lots of recipes that are more "normal" and not semi starvation recipes. Kraft has a lot of recipes, they have a section of healthier or whatever you are looking for at the moment in time of your eating plan. Even Betty Crocker has good recipes.

Second Cooking Light. Their recipes are also available online at www.myrecipes.com (along with a bunch of other magazine recipes). I also like www.budgetbytes.com/ It's not specifically healthy cooking, but everything I've made has fit right into my plan. The worst thing, health wise, was probably the jalapeno mac n cheese and even then it was only about 600 calories per serving. Oh yeah, skinnytaste.com too.

For cookbooks, the ones by Ellie Krieger are good. She has a few of them and they're available used on Amazon for very cheap.

Working on maintaining at 140!

I love "Great Food Fast" by Martha Steward's Everyday Living. It really is fast and easy, yet impressive enough for company, has several recipes using the same semi-unusual ingredients (like goat cheese or fennel), has full page photos for each recipe, is divided into seasons so you can use what produce or cooking techniques are in season, and has all the nutrition facts! I reach for it at least twice a week.

I love the recipes in the magazine called "Cooking Light." They also come up with a Best Of Cookbook at the end of every year.

I have a lot of old cookbooks from my mom's era and I still use those.

I use Allreceipes.com a lot, as well as spark recipes.

Resolved in 2014 to remain below 120!
