Consistency is always rewarded - in how you feel, how healthy you are and how your clothes feel. As awful and unethical as it is for a professional to have lied to you, you really should praise yourself for the good work so far and keep it up to keep seeing results...

I am just finishing a year with Herbal Magic here in BC. Can I ask which HM did this? You should report this to the HM head office. My weight stalls sometimes too but try not to stress. Keep on eating your breakfast, etc. When I feel like this plateau will never end, it suddenly does and I wondered why I always think it's unchangeable.
How did you discover that they had been lying to you about the measurements? Did a separate person not from HM take the measurements?
Don't let people, places or things take your eyes off of your goal. Keep planning for tomorrow's meals, etc. You are to be congratulated on losing 30 lbs so keep that in mind. Don't let go of that victory!!

Please, please, please hang in there and don't give up. I gave up on myself a year ago after a very discouraging thing happened to me, and I regret it! At this point, just don't gain. Figure out a plan to make small changes, and keep going. You're worth it!

Wow that's terrible! But don't worry you are doing an awesome job by working out and eating healthy. Just this morning I got on the scale and was so excited cause I had lost 5lbs well I kinda didn't beleieve it and I told my bf to get on. Sure enough stupid thing is not working lol! Either way I know these things take time and dedication so I will keep goo g until I feel good about myself again. Keep up the good work and be happy! :)

I understand being discouraged. I was there recently. I've been tracking food, staying in range, exercising a lot...but the scale hasn't moved much. I got great advice, though. Focus on those positive changes that you DO see as a result of your efforts. For example, since I started Sparking and swimming I sleep better, and months of shoulder/arm pain from keyboarding is gone. I've gone down one size, and even those smaller clothes are getting pretty loose. My knees feel lots better because my leg muscles are stronger. My back feels better. I've been able to get off, and stay off, the Immodium I took daily for IBS-like symptoms. I have more energy. My lung capacity has increased. Those are all good things. And my 9 year old grand-daughter is proud of my efforts. That means a lot to me, the look on her face when she learned I was working on getting healthier.
I'd say track your intake. Keep being active. Let the changes you see in your body, your energy, and the fit of your clothing be your positive feedback.
It sounds like you have actually made great progress in improving your lifestyle and losing weight. I'm sorry someone deceived you about your measurements and made you doubt the progress you truly have made because of their scam.
Learn what you can realistically expect in terms of healthy weight loss. Inches are not going to come off that fast. You knew deep down that 4-6 inches each week was not realistic or healthy weight loss which is why you questioned it. That would have been like going down 2 clothing sizes each week.
Think of all the great things you've done other than the numbers on a scale or tape measure. You are most likely stronger or have more energy if you have been exercising so much. You have been consistent and hard working. That is not imaginary.
also,.... why hire a consultant? One of the reasons SP is great is that is teaches you to take control of your life in several aspects (team playing, eating, exercising, etc). You can do this by yourself. Don't hire someone to tell you what to eat: read, read, read and make your own decisions. Listen to your body not a consultant! And keep sparking - you'll be fine. Last but not least: asking for help is great. You are not ready to accept failure. And SP is here for you!!!!
You are working hard and should not give up. If it were me, I would look at what my exercise routine is and maybe change things up a little. If you have been doing the same routine for quite a while, your body may be accustomed to it. Try something different. If you are a walker or jogger, maybe a different route that has hills in "different placed" in your routine. If you are lifting weights, try some new exercises to work those muscles in a little different way. I use a heart rate monitor and find that as I have gotten in better condition, it is harder to get my heart rate up (which is key). So, I have found ways to shock my body and get my heart rate up better.
short and mid-term goal: stay consistent and keep losing weight. long-term goal: feel better about myself and not have weight be something I think about on a daily basis.

Keep focused on working towards your goals with the exercise and develop healthy eating habits with Spark recommendations. You want a healthy lifestyle you can live with...not a magic formula gimmick that takes your money and runs. There are great tools here with plenty of info, support, and coaching. USE IT.
I think that's what's so discouraging....I DO live a super healthy life style....I actually haven't taken any supplements for at least 6 months, but I have relied on HM's feedback, and the data I receive (measurements/journal) each week to determine whether or not what I'm doing is working. I have been exercising 5-6 times/week and eating super healthy, consistently for a long time. When the scale bumped up a couple of lbs, I wasn't worried, because I believed it was muscle, as I was told my measurements went down significantly....but it turns out that isn't the case. I feel like I am back at square one. I am trying to tell myself that the scale doesn't lie...that I'm still down 30 lbs, and that I'm the same person I was when I woke up this morning, but as someone who has suffered from eating disorders and body image issues her whole life, I am really devastated. :(

Oh my goodness, don't give up.. It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. yeah, they where wrong to mislead you. So learn from the mistake and try the healthy lifestyle. it does work.. we're here for you when you get discouraged. Please continue

You're exercising regularly, and making smart food choices...just think how healthy you're becoming! They had no right to lie, but rather than get discouraged, use that anger to fuel your workouts, and show them you can do it...without their b.s.! The best revenge is feeling and looking great.
sorry they did that to you.........HOW RUDE..........! I do know from past experience that diets don't work. But a healthy lifestyle of eating right......whole grains, lean meats, fruits, veggies and good fats.........plus working out is the only way to loose weight. Don't give up.....I am living proof that it can be done. I went from a size 16/18 to a 0/1 and I feel so much better. So go get that body you want..........

Over the past year and a half, I have lost 30 lbs, and kept it off, using Herbal Magic. Recently, my weigh loss has stalled, but I have increased my exercise, and while my weight hasn't budged, the inches seemed to be melting off. Every time I went in for my measurements, I would be down an average of 4-6 inches per week. Amazed, I even asked my consultant if she was lying to me! Imagine my horror today, when I had my measurements taken and realized that they HAD been lying to me..by 4-6 inches over almost every body part. Rather than being proud of the progress I have made, I just feel like a big, fat joke, and I just want to quit. I have been exercising like a maniac and religiously journaling my food choices, based on imaginary results. Please help me to stay motivated, and make those lies a reality!
