Yes. I have arthritis, a partially torn miniscus in my left knee, and various other 'hot spots' that always seem to react to changes in the weather.

Oh yeah. I have an autoimmune condition which is exacerbated by various weathers. It seems the worst is when a front is coming through. I get very achey in those times. Luckily, they're usually limited to specific times of year here, and I can see them coming on the weather radar, so I know to limit my planned activities and fall back on my pain meds *before* I get uncomfortable. Both my husband and I will get headaches until the front passes. Sometimes he gets a bit of ache in his knee or back... but not usually overall, like mine is.

...the problem with people these days is
they've forgotten we're really just animals ...

I am seriously affected by changing weather. Even when fronts are moving or the barometric pressure changes I can feel it. Once it's cold I'm okay. I don't mind the cold, as long as it stays cold, but when the weather bounces around like it has where I live for the past few months, I have a really hard time. Most of the time I can manage it somehow with OTC medications, a TENS unit, ice/heat (depends on the joint), prescription medications, massage, Pilates, and acupuncture if I can afford it.

Yes, I have Rheumatoid and Osteo Arthritis. All my joints ache when there is a weather change especially cold rains. But as Azulvioleta6 states it cannot be used as an excuse. It only gets worse if you are not active.

Yes, but I do not use it as an excuse.

If you keep up with a basic exercise regime, fibro is much more manageable.

Yes, but I have fibro and have broken a lot of bones in my lifetime.

I don't take any meds for fibro, but I think that I must have a somewhat mild case...either that or I am just extraordinarily stubborn. ;)

Yes, I have bone mets from stage IV breast cancer; even though most of the lesions are inactive, in certain areas, especially my left hip, they really hurt when the weather is changing or stormy, or extremely cold. Weather changes sometimes trigger migraines for me also.

When I was 10 I broke my arm very badly falling off a skateboard (I essentially snapped my wrist in half). Anytime there's a drastic change in temperature, like if it suddenly gets too hot or cold, or if it's humid out, I have very bad pain in my wrist that only started after I broke it.

Most meds for fibro have worse side effects then the pain like death, or lymphoma.... I was on Cymbalta at onetime and it was a nightmare it made the pains in my head even worse.
My body becomes a barometer I can tell the bad weather coming in even if I don't watch the news for days. Low pressure systems are the worse, it's a horrible life living in daily pain and those who don't have pain should consider themselves blessed!

Starting to like the new me!
Waiting for my garden to come to life!

Both hubby and I seem to be impacted by the weather, when it comes to aches and pains.

I also have Fibromyalgia and RA, this past year the pain has been unbearable most of the time. The weather does play a big part in my pain.

When exercising, I do a little at a time through the day. Must keep moving, lol.

Not to me...but to one of my friends. She has arthritis and she says the change in weather is unbearable sometimes. I am sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia. I don't know a ton about it, but can it be managed through meds?
