Good for you or breaking a habit you didn't like.
I went through a period where I was exhausted and increasing my caffeine and sugar etc just to stay awake. I could fall asleep sitting at my desk. I talked to my doctor and she checked my thyroid, vitamin and iron levels. My thyroid was fine but my iron stores were non existent, my D and B levels were really low as was my DHEA. With supplements, everything is now normal and I have lots of energy.
If you can, it would be worth it to check. My doc said a lot o us use caffeine and sugar to fill in for the missing nutrients.
