My WOW moment today came at the end of my workout (I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, level 1) -- for someone who started out with small, sluggish jumping jacks, the ones at the end were much higher energy!!

my wow moment came this week when i was able to jog without stoppin for almost a half a mile might not seem like a lot to runners out there but to me its amazing i was a 18 year smoker until sept 2012 and very much a couch potato and basically lazy ive been trying to get fit and more active my husband runs 6 miles a day im sure it would take me years to get to that but for now im so excited about my half of a mile woohoo
keep up the good work everyone else

I've been on sparkpeople for a couple of years, but have gone through several falling off the wagon episodes. My first nine months I lost 35 lbs., but have slowly regained 20 lbs when not exercising or logging my food. Summer is always an off the wagon time ( I have 2 young kids that don't like being dragged to the gym 5 days a week). This summer I decided to try hard just to log my food and see what exercise I can do around the house. My wow moment came yesterday, when I lost 2 lbs. just from logging food in one week!!! Definitely motivated to keep logging all summer, but still missing the gym.

When I walk past a mirror and I can't believe how differently my clothes look than they did on 4/9/2013. And when I realized that I could not tighten the belts on my dress slacks any more. I was on the last hole in April and now I can't tighten them enough!

Can't decide between running for five minutes straight, being the closest to doing a full split I have ever been, or the fact that yesterday the summer skort that I thought would be to tight fit (snugly but it fit!)

The CIO at my computer looked at me the other day and told me I needed to stop losing weight. He didn't say it in a bad way though. His complement put a huge smile on my face for the rest of the day. It's nice when someone notices the hard work you've put in.
My wow moment came today,I actually did 20 minutes of Tae-Bo,push-ups,and walked a mile. I am not over weight I weigh around 170 but have developed a slight belly but I can vaguely swee my abs,so hopely within a few weeks I will see more definition.
My Wow moment is when healthy eating leads to consistent weight loss & excellent mindset cause I am satisfied as long as some progress is being made with both consistently....

The day a couple of weeks ago when I was going through my strength training workout at the gym, and a few other ladies in the room said that they were very impressed with what I was doing.
(I was doing 60-second planks with my feet balanced on a medicine ball.)
I know my workouts have been getting harder over time, but didn't really think about what I've accomplished until that moment. When fit, slim, attractive women are impressed by something that I can do, I know I've made progress. Wow!
I don't know if it was my WOW moment, but it was definitely an eye-opener when I saw that the two eggs I had in the morning had significantly more cholesterol than the Dairy Queen Mushroom Swiss Burger I had at suppertime! Holy Moly! I'm not saying that I'm going to go on a steady diet of burgers, but I'm definitely cutting 2 eggs back to 1 egg every time I eat them!
It's all good, though. Four days of working with your tracking tools and a bit of extra knowledge and I've lost 3 pounds already! I''m definitely hopeful that I will have more WOW moments in the future.
