I think of it as a combination of eating better, getting stronger through exercise, and being lighter which, in turn, is better for my body. I do all of this today to help ensure that the rest of my years on this earth are going to be as good as they can possibly be. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I complete my daily workout on the treadmill clocking that extra 5 minutes that makes such a big difference. Taking it day by day we will all reach our goals.

C'mon people Fess up!! The real reason most of us want to lose weight is so that we can look good. I'll be honest- that's probly my major reason. I want to lose fat so that my muscles pop. GO weightlifting! Scrolling down the page I didn't see a single person say they wanted to lose weight so they felt better about the way they looked.

Gosh I just want to be able to walk or move without the pain of the added weight. I started on 6 Feb 13 and have lost about 42 pounds thus far, down to 192. It's getting tougher, and I struggle not to obsess about it all.

2.getting out of plus size clothing...I am not out of plus size, I still buy size 1X if it's something fitted like a blazer or a raincoat, but I do shop in regular size department now for my tops, pants etc...I am very thankful for that, not having to wear size 2x and 3x after losing 40 pounds last year...but my goal is to wear regular size clothing comfortably, all of it.
