My employer has required me to get a physical for the insurance plan I have. Well I had that physical today, and the dr told me that I am obese for my height and weight. This is the first time a dr has told me that. I am shocked and disappointed in myself. He kept on and on about doing weight watchers. I don't have the motivation to do that plan. I am very depressed at this information and myself. I need to get motivated and need to lose 50 pounds. Any advice from anyone would be very much appreciated. Please no sarcasm, I had enough today from the doctor himself.

As a female, I'm aware my weight, bloat, etc will fluctuate daily; so I have some "looser" clothing. that looser clothing is getting tight, every day lately. I gain about 10 lbs every winter/holiday season. This year Spring came and I gained another 5, roughly, on top of that. My husband and I got a rough start this summer trying to get into a good biking routine so I'll admit I've been slightly lazy. Even though I've done a lot more in the yard and garden this year and we've done quite a lot of hiking. We still haven't been as active as I'd like and our eating habits have not been that great either (I LOVE to bake).
Anyway since I'm around the top of my ideal weight for my height AND I REFUSE to buy a bigger size AGAIN since I initially lost the weight; Basically want to fit more comfortably into the clothes I currently have in the closet since there is no reason I can't. I just have to stop making excuses.

Tired of the couch potato life. emoticon I know that getting out to exercise will help weight loss and energy levels. that in turn will give me less time to veg and more energy to get out and do more. emoticon Maybe even meet new people to increase my social life which would also give less time alone on the couch. It is a cycle for a healthier physical and emotional life that I would really like to embrace.emoticon And my motivation for the dayemoticon
