Floating between 5lbs for over 8months myself, I had to think of non scale victories... That didn't put a pressure on the scale so much.. We are sooo caught up on loosing now, 2lbs a week or more just to be successful people forget the smaller things in life...
1. you are becoming healthy.. As your diseased body starts getting the nutrients it needs from good eating, your organs, veins, your body is healing... Good things= a good healthy body which in return heals your damaged insides... just think with every good thing you put in your mouth, it will make your organs work on how they should.. better bowels, better circulation, better hair, skin, ect.
2. Non scale victories... when you work out can you lift more, have more strength, can you run or walk faster, go further, do your rings / clothes fit nicer, more compliments even when you don't feel it, Do you even notice the smaller things like even tying your shoes or putting on socks, you tummy isn't in the way as it used to be, bending further, stretching more
3. How do you talk to yourself ? We are our worst enemies and we are more critical of ourselves than others... how you talk to your self and send self messages is just as important as how we talk to others.. Are you being nice to yourself, tell yourself one good thing each day about yourself, My eyes look more shiner, I got up on time without my alarm, I can do this, I am worth something.. Give yourself something to be happy about.
4. Check your moods and attitudes at the door. Don't allow negativity run your day and everything starts with a thought... thoughts turn into things and action.
