I always take my weight as the first thing in the morning, at home.... My doctor's office is not a convenient place for me to get to often! But if you happen to walk past your's every afternoon for instance, that would work too.
All weight is 'relative' so to speak...You will usually weigh ""more"" in the afternoon (after having eaten breakfast, lunch, snacks & having lots of water...) and not all scales are accurate. So I think you are best off to a) use the same scale and b ) at the same time of day
And,...as long as you are consistent, the accuracy of your "real weight" really doesn't matter!! What is far more important is to observe the trend over time: are you going down, maintaining, or gaining??? There in lies the truth!
