I found it really funny that my hubby and I got on this topic because I just started drinking coffee this week, my thought was like... it was only for OLD people.. I thought there was an age limit on when a person could drink coffee and there was a certain lime milestone someone should start.. As a kid, I only saw old people drinking coffee, so in my mind, I was never going to drink it because I did not want to be considered old...We were laughing so hard I started snorting and I couldn't stop laughing, my hubby now calls me a dweeb (for fun) hahahahaha
Growing up I couldn't wait to do certain things, try certain things and now as an adult, I wish I was a kid.. sometimes due to the responsibilities that we have.
We wish we could go back but in my day, I enjoyed my childhood and my adult hood has been never the less interesting because I find life very entertaining in the littlest things and I find something funny in everything (except when I have to be serious)
What are some myths or beliefs you had as a kid and now as an adult have changed?
Is it what you thought it would be?
Thoughts are really kinda funny when you think about it, could you wait to turn of age? Whether you would turn 12 to not be called a kid, 13 to become a teenage, 16 to drive a car, 18 to smoke and to be considered an adult, 21 to drink?
I never smoked so I wouldn't know but I couldn't wait till I turned 21 to have my first drink.
