When I first started Sparking, I saw a thread or a blog somewhere, that described it like this:
If you dropped a plate and chipped it - would you then carry on and smash the rest of the china in your cupboard? No. Of course not! That would be silly! You damage one little plate, you just carry on, you make do without it, or you take steps to replace it - you don't throw *everything* away because of one little slip.... the message was we should treat ourselves like fine china... and never give up on ourselves because of a little chip or crack here and there....
That message has stuck with me.
