My fun thing for Week One ended up being changing my hairstyle. I went from having really long hair to having it cut really short! I didn't go with my original plan because my bike is too buried in the shed at the moment. With Dad working on the sprinkler system, I didn't want to bug him for his help. I did walk up to the park with my brother, but we ended up leaving early because his shoulder was causing him quite a bit of pain. (He is disabled and was using his hand-pedaled bike.) I still plan on making it to the park sometime this month.

I would still love more fun suggestions. My plans for Week Two got canceled. It looks like we will be going to the planetarium that week though, but I don't have anything planned for the last three weeks of the month. Thanks for all of the great ideas!

Thank you for all of the great suggestions! I think my fun thing this week will be to ride my bike to the park and swing on the swings. I might blow bubbles too.

this is my month too. My dad suggested that I enjoy a glass or two of fermented grape juice. Now I just have to figure out which kind i want.

I haven't gotten all of my b-day month planned yet.

Thank you for all of the great suggestions!

OBIESMOM2-I love the swings too, and we do have a park nearby.

-CORAL- -Your suggestion reminded me of a fun center we have. They have mini golf, skating, lazer tag, arcade, and a bunch of other fun things to do.

I_HEART_MY_FAM -Bowling is a great idea!

ONLYZOMBIECAT -Those are a lot of great suggestions! I think I like the idea of changing my hairstyle. I've been thinking about cutting it short for a long time.

My birthday is in May so one of my goals for this month is "Have an AWESOME birthday month". I did this last year, too. The idea is to do and blog about one very fun thing each week this month. Since this week is just four days long, and I didn't plan ahead like I should have, I need some ideas of fun things I can do with limited time and resources. Some of the things I did last year include:

-going to the park to play and blow bubbles
-going to the car show with my little brother and getting root beer floats on the way home
-playing pinball at the pizza place
-playing the shooting gallery at Cabela's

Any ideas, even ones I might not be able to do this week, would be much appreciated. The only week I really have planned for is next week. My family and I are going to Lagoon Amusement Park to celebrate my birthday a couple weeks early.
