I don't go to KFC, but my local grocer's deli has the same thing, fried chicken with and without the bone. I'd rather have the bone-in, because it's all about the skin, like it is for so many others. The boneless is good, but in my mind it's a totally different product. I don't expect them to taste at all the same, so if I'm in the mood for fried chicken I go for the bone-in, skin-on version.

Hmm, now I'm wondering if I should try it. I have 2 coupons for BOGO free. But the skin is my favorite part ...and I don't like the extra crispy...maybe if the oppurtunity presents itself before the coupons expire LOL

My boyfriend and I tried some yesterday and no, it's not like the original, It's more like the extra crispy. I didn't care for it as much as I thought I would. I love the skin too even more than the chicken.

Boneless chicken and a chicken nugget is too different things. I have boneless breast with no nugget about it, it is full sized just with bone removed.

I tried it the other day,and I have to say I really like it.Like you, I love that skin (I don't ever skip it!) but this was just as tasty. It lacked the yummy skin, but had all the flavor and crunchiness of the whole piece. I don't eat KFC much these days (the sodium is murder) but I'll probably be getting boneless from now on. I can enjoy more of the chicken without the skin, and it's marginally better for me.

The bones in the chicken don't bother me but the grease it is cooked in does so I don't eat there.

I've tried it and thought it was pretty good. I don't eat KFC often, but when I eat it again I'll probably get the boneless chicken.

Well if part of what you like about KFC is the greasy chicken skin - you won't find it on their new boneless AND SKINLESS chicken.

Apparently it tastes about the same, just no bones to fuss with. Which - ok. But. Then doesn't it just become another version of a McNugget?

I think I will pass. This, from a (former) die-hard fan of A&W Chubby Chicken. I figure when I get around to eating chicken - I want it to actually BE chicken, not nuggets.

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

Has anyone tried it? Is it as good as the original?
I absolutely love KFC original recipe. I have it once every 4 to 6 months, so it is a rare treat. I eat the skin and love every greasy bite of it!
So, any one have an opinion on this version?
