I lost a hundred pounds then put 30 back on! How frustrating ..all of that hard work then I started slip sliding back into unhealthy habits.
I've figured out a few things though...I have to weigh everyday. If I don't, I can ignore what's happening with the slow, insidious weight gain.
I have to measure everything I eat. I have "fat" eyes that tell me to eat everything in front of me cuz thats a serving ...right?
I have to exercise 6 days a week...and work up a good sweat..or I will gain weight.
I have to keep only good food in the house. If it's junk food and in the house I will eat it. ALL OF IT!
I can eat 1 portion of anything I want as long as I have the calories for it.
I've learned I would rather have dinner then 4 Oreos.
I can cook healthy, tasty meals regardless of whether anyone else will eat them. If they don't like it, they can fix their own meal.
What have you figured out that you have to do in order to be successful?
