The kimchi soup tends to be very salty! I know! After such a meal, I'm dying to down a regular root beer float from A&W. Both bad ideas for me! That's why I don't eat it anymore!

Korean food can be very healthy, but as others have noted, you still need to be mindful of your portion sizes. Some places do heap piles of food, just like American chain restaurants.

A Korean place just opened not too far from me, dying to try their BBQ. I hear good things about it.

I've always loved Korean cuisine. I believe it's healthy enough - but like all cuisine there are some richer foods than others!

My favorites: hamool pai jan, kimchi chigae, but especially the spicy jjampong

now I'm craving Korean...... I also drive a Hyundai..... heheheheh

I also love Korean food. It is the only good thing that came out of my brother's marriage before the divorce.

after spending 5 weeks in Korea last year I came back 10 lbs lighter. Korean food has lots of veggies, fish, rice & tofu; on par to the typical american meals much healthier. Koreans are also very physically active with exercise equipment throughout their cities.

Your encouragement is greatly appreciated!

My son-in-law loves Korean Cuisine, but I have no idea how healthy it is.

Ponder what it was, and you can make a good guess, if it was way too greasy, that would be a hint, for one thing, or if you had 3 servings of noodles, that would be another hint. Ethnic foods can be tricky.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

I just had my 1st Korean meal. It was fantastic. My question is, how fattening is it? or is it healthy?
