Developing a healthy plan for reacting to failed steps can help get you past repeating the same failure again and again. If your plan is to ignore the failure, do you repeat the same mistake frequently? If so, maybe the first plan is to stop ignoring the failure and do something different!
First acknowledge the failure. Determine what lead to the subsequent failure then write it down! Develop an action plan to implement the next time the temptation or circumstance comes that derails your positive momentum. Tweak your action plan until success becomes the standard and move to the next issue!
