I've used Ben Gay, but it didn't really do anything much, husband has tried Aspercreme but useless, and I still have some bio-freeze for my heel, but it helps for about 11 minutes, so don't use it much. I get more relief from a good old fashioned aspirin, to tell the truth, better than any of the "modern" pain relievers.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

I've been using IcyHot lately (also the store equivalents)

The last I purchased was IcyHot Advanced Relief with 11% Camphor & 16% Menthol
so it is just like Tiger Balm but I found it for less.

"Blue Emu" cream. It is blue, but is odorless. I buy it at Wal Mart. My sister started me on this.
Two of my Doctors use this. I asked my Orthopedic Dr, was it the cream or the rubbing that helped? He replied, "Six of one and half a dozen of the other." He used it also.

It depends on what kind of pain it is. Biofreeze works well in almost all situations. Icy Hot not so much, because I need the cold, not the heat. I use Aspercreme on my back, knees and shoulders. I've been using arnica based products recently and have had good results with those as well.
I've discovered the storing any of the creams in the fridge helps them relieve my pain faster, which I really appreciate even though the cold is sometimes kind of shocking at first.

I love Tiger Balm and if something is really sore, I'll soak it in Epsom Salts (or soak a washcloth in an Epsom Salt bath and hold on the sore spot).
Best of Luck!

I use the rub on Icy Hot.

Another use of Absorbine Jr is insect bites. I used to use that on my insect bites and it worked.

Aspercreme was always what was used in our house. I usually use Burt Bee's Res-Q balm when I can find it. I don't find them terribly effective except as a nice enhancement to a bit of massage. Ibuprofen/heat works best for aches.

My husband uses Tiger Balm. I take an aspirin, but if I wanted to start using something like that, probably I'd buy good old Ben Gay. "Natural" means nothing, by the way, in a rub or supplement or any product at all, don't be misled.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

I don't use rubs...they just mask pain, without any real help. If I have muscle aches & may take some ibuprofen...or ice the area if it's really sore. Otherwise, more movement, more stretching, usually helps.

I grew up with everyone using BenGay. Many of us suffer from migraines and we would rub it on our forehead, temples, back of our neck, even eyelids (be careful) and it worked wonders.
The smell always reminds me of my mom

My dad always used Absorbine. The smell reminds me of him.

I usually use Icy Hot, A535, or Tiger Balm.
It sort of depends on what's on sale.

Have tried one that starts with Z if I remember correctly (it's upstairs, and I'm not going to run up and get it). That worked well. (there's lots of TV ads for it, so I may not even be remembering the first letter correctly, either).

Arnica (a natural one) isn't bad on some things, but it often takes a while to work

Do you use a pain relieving rub for arthritis or muscle pain? If so, what brand do you use?

I think life is not so much about waiting for the storms to be over, as much as it is, learning how to dance in the rain.
