I joined a gym this past Sunday. I made my decision after having a 3 week plateau. Since Jan 2nd I had lost 18 pounds by tracking my food, work out tapes and walking. I became very frustrated when the scale would not move especially since I have been very careful with my food measurements etc.
Well to my delight I have alreadylost 2 lbs this week! I have been to the gym for the last 6 days. The majority of my workout is cardio and alternating days of upper and lower body strength training. I go directly to the gym after work and only spend an hour.
I have been eating the same amount of calories but drinking more water. I feel reinvigorated and my motivation has been restored!
Has anyone else noticed an improvement in their weight loss after joining a gym?
