I haven't binged that much since starting Spark 8 months ago (at least nothing that brought me over my spark range or maintenance even) until lately! I tried to do a lowerish carb diet and then carb cycling. I kept finding myself pigging out on carbs even more. Especially these homemade peanut butter, raisin, walnut and oat granola bars. I had at least 3 days in the past 2 weeks where I hit 2500 cals.
The low carb diet just left me tired and miserable all time, my workouts suffered, my legs were tired all the time, I felt deprived and I actually would lose a little bit of weight after my binges. So I've ditched it. How anyone can maintain a low carb diet while weight training and doing cardio is beyond me. The food is also terrible and high in fat. I mean, I love my protein and fat but, yuk... too much and I missed my fruit.
