I love my Cuisinart, and have a couple of different sizes.

Don't have one -- unless you consider Cusinart's blender/food processor

Thanks, everyone! I'll start some serious research and shopping around. I appreciate the advice.

I had a Hamilton Beach (got it for about $70).
It wasn't bad.

I did some research before buying an expensive one, and got a Breville.
Would have purchased Kitchen Aid, but didn't like the online reviews.

I think the biggest thing is determining exactly what you're going to use it for, and then match the functions with that.

I don't make a lot of smoothies, so that feature isn't necessary (I do have a blender attachment on another appliance if I really needed it - my dedicated blender was given to my son when he set up housekeeping)

I have heard the Ninja is a reasonably good machine, but I've no personal experience.

it's cool because my mom garbage picked a food processor for me; it was new never used, and it was old!
so whatever one you buy it'll work great
it depends how often you'll use it
if you're going to use it a lot get one that's nice probably somewhere between $50 or more
and if less then $50 or under
these are just suggestions
but like other people said look around and look at reviews too
good luck!
food processors are so cool!

Shop around; especially online like e-Bay, Amazon, etc.

I'm looking for a good food processor, not too expensive. Any suggestions?
