So - I've been TERRIFIED to do "group" fitness.
I'm mushy, I jiggle, and not so fit.
Last week - I just went to a spinning place - checked it out - asked some questions and left. But the people there were super nice, told me that you ride in the dark, and gave me a FREE pass to come back.
So - no excuses - I dropped the kids off at school and headed on in.
They handed me shoes, a towel and bottle of water. They helped me set up my bike.
I told the instructor that my goal was to make it through the whole ride at my own pace.
I followed the Torq suggestions, but no way could I do the RPM.
I have been reading to just "not be afraid to suck." So, I went in, dropped my fear, and rode my bike - (in the back, at my own pace, in the dark).
I did it! 45 minutes.
