My guess is that people haven't responded because she asked for personal experience from those who have been able to lose fat without losing muscle, and that's almost impossible.
Anytime you lose weight, some of that loss is going to come from muscle. You can minimize that by regular strength training, losing weight slowly, etc. But you can't eliminate it.
