I have used Mederma, and the results are decent. The stretch marks will never go away, but at least the appearance is somewhat better.
This is for me...

Mine are really bad from having 2 big babies- first 9lb 6 1/2 oz, second 11 lbs 3 oz. They seem to be fading some with time, but unless I live to be several hundred years old, no go.

That stuff helps a bit, if you use it right after, but if you have marks from years ago, have to see a professional dermatologist, and not just buy junk off the store shelves, another billion dollar business....................

My oldest is almost 12 now and the majority of mine are from the day he laid sideways in my belly about 2 weeks before I was due. It hurt so much that I wanted to turn him myself but was scared it would be the wrong way. My sister introduced me to this stuff called Bio-Oil (which apparently has PurCellin Oil and it's supposed to work wonders). It's mainly marketed to pregnant women but it's supposed to help reduce and diminish scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tones, aging skin, and dehydrated skin. Your supposed to put it on twice a day for at least 3 months before you see good results but I always forget to put it on. When I was pregnant with the twins I did it a little more frequently and I was seeing the stretch marks fade in colour at least. The size is still there and they're still somewhat noticeable but with them being closer to my skin colour is makes them not pop out so bad. And I must say mine are really really bad on my tummy - looks like someone took a rake down my stomach =S It's a bit on the pricey side but it has helped a bit. I'm careful about when I put it on cuz it's sort of like baby oil and I don't want that on my clothes In the past I've also used pure Vit E cream too and as long as you keep putting it on it helps but once you stop the results stop. It's a slow and steady wins the race sort of thing. There's no quick fix and consistency is key. I highly doubt that deep ones like mine will ever completely disappear but it'd be nice to have them continue to fade over time. I just have to remember to use the stuff LOL.

Keeping your skin hydrated helps, but if someone else has a product they reommend id be really interested too, so far ive tried cocoa butter, scar cream (over the counter and surgeon strength) and none have really helped. They will fade over time, but I still notice mine. Sigh

Does anyone know of a good remedy for making stretch marks fade and/or disappear? I've had them for years, and would love to see them fade away. Any tips?
