Staying active can be hard for most people with busy schedules, and college students are no exception to that. With mountains of assignments, extracurriculars, social life, and balancing work and class time, it's easy to slip into unhealthy habits whether it's cheap, convenient or some combination of the two. But there are ways to fit in exercise and every little bit counts.
I commute to school every day and by the time I get to school the parking lot is packed. This was something I once complained over, but now I use it to my advantage by taking the farther spots and walking (this motivated me to get to school earlier and of course this is an added bonus when the weather's nice!) In between classes I'll either walk around the campus and I try to take the long way. And of course, the simplest thing is to always take the stairs.
What do you do to add in fitness to your crazy college schedules?
"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn't nice, I don’t know what is.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
