from COMMUNITIES, select SPARK PAGES. Use the search tool for the user names. When you get to their Spark Page, click ADD AS A SPARK FRIEND (upper right corner)

Hi all, I'm brand new to Sparkpeople. I joined because a couple of my friends were using it. How do I go about adding them to my friend feed so we can encourage each other? I have their usernames, I just don't know where to go. Any guidance would be much appreciated!
