Beans, beans, beans! So high in fiber. And obviously fresh fruits and veggies. Quinoa is another good source!

If you're eating enough fruits and vegetables you really shouldn't have a problem getting enough fiber. Other high fiber ideas: beans, quinoa, nuts, and seeds.

Many people who are gluten-free stay away from breads & pastas & generally use grains, fruits & veggies to get their fiber. Having a fruit smoothie with either ground flax seed or chia seeds are another way of adding fiber. Beans are a good source not only of protein, but fiber as well. Making casseroles, soups & (in my case, vegetarian) chili increases fiber if using beans &/or veggies. emoticon

Flax seed meal has 4 grams per 2 TBSP! You can bake muffins and breads with it.
Even having a huge salad a day and 2 servings of other veg I never used to get my fiber before I started having flax meal with breakfast.

Fruits and vegetables are naturally gluten free and full of fiber. A large apple has 5 g of fiber.

You don't have to eat the whole thing.

Any ideas on how to increase fiber when gluten intolerant?
Most of the pastas, breads, cereals etc are not very high in fiber, so it's tricky to get as much as recommended. emoticon
