I saw it at Wegman's last week, but did not purchase it........I did not know enough about it at the time. But from researching it online, it definitely sounds like something I would like to try.
Here is what I found: 85% of the fat calories are removed through a process of first roasting the peanuts and then pressing them to remove the fat and oil. 2 Tbsp has 45 calories and 1.5 grams of fat, 5 g of protein, 1g sugar and 94mg of sodium.
I have read some really good things about it on forums regarding taste. Many people put it into protein shakes/smoothies. Others add the water and put it onto sliced apples, rice cakes, etc. Some people do not like the fact that there is sugar and salt added, so if natural is what you are looking for, this is not it.
They also have a PB2 chocolate, which had some good reviews also.......
BTW, I ended up purchasing the Bee's Knees peanut butter from Whole Foods.....it is good, however it is high in calories and fat.......I use it sparingly, so it may be awhile before I can try the PB2.
Please keep us posted if you do decide to try it!
