I do the same with a calendar, and I mark every day that I make fitness and nutrition goals, then 'pay myself' at the end of the week. I have a penny jar and put my pay in that, that's for me to reward myself however I want, hair done, nails, etc.
I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.
I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!
