I don't know about stretch marks, but AmLactin (and the CVS generic version) made a big difference in my skin. My dermatologist recommended AmLactin to help with bumps on the back of my arms. It's expensive and even though it's unscented, it has a strong odor when used over large areas. I use it when I get out of the shower, then use a lightly scented lotion and it's fine.
