no since my car crash I have not been able to sleep for more than a couple hours at a time. I have to get up because my legs and arms fall asleep and go numb so I have to wake up and move around so that the blood flow is not disturbed.

For many years I lived on 4-5.5emoticon. Since retirement I am making up for all of the years of lost sleep. I now sleep 7.5-9 hrs emoticon unless I go to bed later than planned and have to get up early and hit the ground running emoticon

I usually get between 6-7 hours of sleep. emoticon Sometimes on weekends I am able to get between 8-9 hours. However, none of those are straight through. Since I've been drinking my 8 glasses of water, I am up at least once or twice a night going to go pee. LOL!!! I also bought a Fitbit One and on most nights I am awakening about 5-10 times a night. emoticon

Yes - I can barely function without seven hours sleep. I rarely wake up - my OH says I'm ridiculous. In the past I've slept through fire alarms, burglar alarms, car alarms, babies crying, parents fighting and my boyfriend getting up and pushing me out of bed (unintentional) - he said I carried on sleeping on the floor and he wasn't sure whether to wake me so I was back in bed or to leave me be so I slept. I'm lucky and I thank God for this.

My "target" is 7-8 hrs of sleep every night. Straight through!?!--that is all over the map!
I do what I can.

Ah yes...the snoring husband issue. We finally set up separate bedrooms...I haven't slept in the same bed as my husband in almost 15 years! And I sleep better because of it. Surprisingly, our marriage also got better--we are WAY more affectionate & close to each other now that we have separate rooms. Go figure. :)

It Is What It Is.... :)

I wish!!!! If it isn't my son waking me up, my hubby is snoring his head off. About the only time I get to sleep all the way through the night is if my hubby is working out of town and I let my son sleep in "dad's spot".

Usually 4-6 hours. Then I try to go back to sleep--sometimes I'm successful...

I recently got the Fitbit One and it registers your sleep patterns. Although I am in bed for 8 hours a night it logs that I am awakened (tossing and turning) sometimes up to 24 times a night. After all of that movement, I probably getabout 7 hours of sleep!

I average about 6hrs per night. Sometimes more, sometimes less....more is always good but not always possible. Less is far to easy so I have to be careful about when to shut it all down at night.
