I really like them and think they taste better than another I used to use. I like using the vanilla one and make a capuccino shake. 1 scoop vanilla, 2/3 cup water, 1 cup cool coffee and some ice.

Are you using the shakes as meal replacement?

Our dietitian doesn't like us using stuff with inulin (fake fiber) in it, as it doesn't really do much for cholestrol at all.........plus, GNC is not known for telling the truth about the products it sells, too many supplements that don't really have enough of what you think will help you, actually in them. Join Center For Science in the Public Interest and get their Nutrition Action Healthletter, this group is an independent nonprofit consumer health group. GNC sells bogus stuff.

The oat base is interesting. I wasn't aware of that, so appreciate the info and topic.

I'm not looking for high protein shakes - this one only has 9 before adding milk. I love the oat bran base in it since I am trying to lower my cholesterol a bit. Only using it as a meal replacent. Not to replace protein from exercise.

What are you planning on using the shakes for, and how often?

I wanted to get some feedback before I go spending the money. I bought one of those single packets just to try the flavor & texture. Cookies & Cream - it was pretty good. And a lot of the NI I'm looking for, like fiber & soluble fiber.

If anybody has tried these shakes I'd love to hear some of your pros & cons. Thanks so much!!!
