My proud moment was yesterday actually; I decided Easter was my free day to eat whatever I want. I ran to the fridge first thing in the morning eager to stuff my face, and realized I just wanted my diet food. It made me happy to know I havn't been depriving myself as much as I thought.

Pain is weakness leaving the body.
(My husbands favorite quote when we go hiking and I'm complaining!)

I had a proud moment yesterday. My kids came over for an Easter visit (I worked yesterday) and when my son came in he told me that my weight loss looks wonderful and that he was proud of me! I have to thank spark people for guiding me through this venture and ofcourse all the wonderful people on the site that inspires and supports me during my lifestyle changes!! Thanks to all of you!

Waking up 10 minutes before the alarms went off. And I got up to exercise.

My son (in his 20s) started reading a book on the habits of successful people, and was telling me how much he was enjoying the book.

Then he said some sections of it reminded him of ME and my efforts to get fit & lose weight. Parts about setting specific goals, focusing on them and taking steps to meet them.

Finishing a 7.5 mile hike in our local mountains. It took about 210 minutes but it was well worth it. Hiked the Devils' Chair (Devil's Punchbowl).
