I am prone to discouragement when I don't get quick results. But I have come to realize that if I focus on my strategy instead of weight I am actually adopting behaviors that are more likely to give success. I rate how good my day was against my strategy, as a percentage. did I exercise to my targets? Did I eat well according to my plan? Don't make the targets too hard, or have too many, but know what you need to change and adjust your targets as you go. I feel more in control even though I am not yet where I will end up. Hope this helps.

I quit weight watchers today, and signed back up to sparkpeople. You and I are in the same boat. I feel that with hard work and determination we can be successful! Good luck to you in your weight loss journey and welcome back! :)
I am trying to come back with a vengance. I have to put my big girl panties on and suck it up. This sucks. It is hard work. I have spent too much time not looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. Not realizing the importance of getting healthy. that getting healthy makes me happy. being happy makes me want to do more. doing more makes the weight go down.
