Fresh raw veggies and dip-and MAKE YOUR OWN DIP. Use fat free plain Greek yogurt, with the only ingredients being skim milk and yogurt cultures, dry dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, TINY bit of salt if you want, and black pepper. Compare at 15.5 calories per two tablespoons to 120 calories per two tablespoons of T. Marzetti's Dill dip for veggies. Yeah. HEALTHY!!!
You can use the same or similar dip in a rye or pumpernickel or multigrain bread boat-use fresh basil, fresh oregano, sweet peppers, a little salt and pepper with the fat free plain Greek yogurt.
You can have fresh fruit with a sweet yogurt dip-with...you guessed it...fat free plain Greek yogurt mixed with honey or fruit preserves.
Serve dark chocolates instead of milk chocolate.
Make oatmeal cookies with flaxseed meal and mini chocolate chips.
You can have cheese and crackers, but have whole grain crackers and whole wheat crackers instead of buttery crisps.
Forego the chips altogether.
Have cranberry juice or sparkling grape juice or sparkling apple cider as opposed to soda, and lots of water available.
