I have sleepy days when I haven't had enough of the right kind of calories (vs. calories burned in exercise) or when I've had too much sugar for breakfast (afternoon crash). I find that if I eat a little protein I wake up.

(a) stress (b) busyness (sounds like this could be your case, too) (c) dreary days - dark, cloudy, rainy, snowy - when there is very little sunshine

Yes, lately I'm real sleepy because of the new medicine my doctor put me on for Fibromyalgia pain. Don't know if I'll be able to stay on it.
I live in Mishawaka, Indiana Married for 20 years, and have 1 beautiful 24 year old daughter.

Yes. I get up at 4 AM and don't get to bed until 10 PM with an hour commute to and from work. This wears me down and I seem to fight bugs all winter. I just listen to my body and sleep when I need it. I do try for 3-4 days a week fitness.

Oh yes! Yesterday I was tired from not getting enough sleep and took a 4 hour nap! Hubby was glad it relieved my grumpiness.

I was feeling very lethargic after a good nights sleep. I have cut my nightime med to help me sleep in half. That has helped a lot!

I had one today! For no apparent reason I was so sleepy I could hardly stand it, so I did my walk and was STILL sleepy! Weird.

I used to have that before I had my thyroid checked by the doctor, during menopause, the med helped but not right away.

Absolutely, and today was one of those days. I tried to take a nap, but couldn't fall asleep because I couldn't shut off my brain.

I had one yesterday. I was the host of a small Christmas party. I had to take two cat naps before party then an hour into party I was getting tired again, the vodka drink with cranberry and orange juice probably did not help. My sis wasn't feeling good she was just getting a cold so her and her family had to leave and my SIL had to go home to study for finals so him, my, daughter and grandson had to leave early also.The party was over by 9 and what a perfect year for it to end early. My annual Christmas party usually last from midnight to three. I was done cleaning up and in my jammies come 10 30 and was loving it. It was just one of those I am tired days. The party was still fantastic, the fun was still there, the love, the excitement etc. I am just happy it worked out to where it ended early. :) I hope my sis is okay I tried calling her once. I will try to call her later again to see if she is okay. Oh the party started at 5 as usual. :)
