I agree about the sunblock. Thai the first thing I put on no matter what.

I wash with Noxema, the white, old fashioned cream in the blue jar. That's it.

Coconut oil smells "funny" to me, and I won't use it for anything at all.

I just started using the korres 24 hour face brightening moistuizer. I started using some korres makeup last year and really like it. Everything is all natural and just in a matter of weeks see a difference in my skin. A jar is around 30.00 but it will last me at least 2-4 mos. I've tried philosophy and all the avon lines and all I got is break outs and from philosophy line very dry skin.

The #7 is a little more than I'm willing to spend.

I'm with you SUMMERSHORTS...coconut oil is what I will be trying next, for my skin and my hair. I've been hearing all kinds of good things about it.

I have recently started using coconut oil on my skin - sporadically, when I'm in the kitchen and the jar is open! Never used anything else on anything like a regular basis. My mum-in-law gave me some Avon creams about three years ago but I don't like them very much - they have a strange smell. I have given most of them away. I prefer the coconut oil. It's also great on my hands which I find get very dry during winter, to the point where the skin cracks and bleeds sometimes.

I have always bought Lancome, Clinique and learning others can be just as good for much less.
I just bought some Garnier gel night cream for extra moisture now that winter is here and skin is drier. Also have had good luck with Olay products. Avon products work well also.

I use some generic stuff righ now, it's too greasy. I've been hearing about No7 too and want to try it next.

Olay - the little red tub, and regenerist serum
Clinique - all about eyes and moisture (sometimes intense moisture therapy)

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a cast away.

I wash my face with either plain warm water or a gentle bar soap like dove or a mild glycerin soap, and moisturize with Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Butter lotion-the kind that's $7 a bottle and lasts for 3 years. I have fairly good skin, thanks to good genes and drinking lots of water, and it works for me. It doesn't make any sense for me to spend much on face care products anymore like it did when I was in my teens and had horrible pimples because I thought water was just for cooking, bathing, and making koolaid.

I have heard 2 good ones:

Meaningful beauty system by Cindy Crawford

and Murad's Resurgance

Both available online, and have money back guarentees.

They are good to prevent and reduce fine lines, and help restore a "Glow"
