I get just as much motivation from people who are succeeding as those who gained back some of the weight as long as they are insightful as the reasons why they gained it back. It all keeps me on track and I believe reading the many blogs keeps my weight off.

My SP friends that I email and post to regularly. I keep my group very low in numbers....under 50, so that I can cultivate relationships much easier than if I had 300 spark friends. Oh and my secret crush KJFITNESSDUDE! emoticon

Everybody here is so amazingly positive and supportive, and being new, so many people have been so warm and welcoming, which I really appreciate!

But for me personally, the most motivating people are those that have conquered ED issues, since that's something I'm dealing with right now. So nice to know that you CAN get over it!

I also really admire people that get up super super early to exercise, since that sounds crazy daunting to me!

Good morning to all.
I'm really new to this site, but I am a weight watcher life time member... and when I say lifetime, I mean it probably came from a past life... yes, that's how long. :) Weight watchers has allot to offer, but lets face it ......you have to get ready to go to a meeting...... I can read everyones thoughts, anytime I like and become instantly motivated, recharged and ready to conquer again! The site is incredible! The people are genuine. ... and there's allot of info, hints and etch page is a tremendous uplift.
I enjoy this site very much! It has so much to offer. The recipes alone are awesome! I have tried a few daily and am really enjoying all the site offers. I've been reading and feeling hugged by everyones enthusiasm!
The motivation... and as strong and as weak the moment might be will change quickly, but my inspiration comes from the encouragement and guidance of others.
My first day here, I read something someone wrote that stated that they exercised each morning,very early; because no one would be up to interrupt them.... and I laughed because that is what I always did! It made me think for a second that I was doing something right! After all at 6a.m. truly nobody wants to bother me! :)

Fellow Sparkers, for sure! A few days ago I was going through a slump when a Sparker explained to me what a plateau really is, and how well I was actually doing. He's working up to a marathon. I was inspired by his very positive comments and now I'm back to running... and I got on the scale this morning and discovered I've lost another 2 pounds, woot! Sparkepople are awesome.

When I get to feeling depressed and sorry for myself I read the blogs...there are people out there who are facing obstacles and overcoming them every day that inspire me. Currently I like LDRICHEL for the honesty about dealing with discouragement and dysthymia. but she is only one of many. Spark People are my heroes.

Coach Nicole! Watching her demo the exercises effortlessly makes me WANT to try the exercises too. (and shhhhh, I don't really like to exercise all that much!) I've sat in my chair with resistance bands and done the seated workout and she makes it really fun!

I watch past episodes of BIGGEST LOSER & i usually fast forward to either, THE CHALLENGES, THE WEIGH INS and most importantly what reallllly motivates me is them WORKING OUT....When i see the struggle & determination on their faces & the WANT to get healthier..THAT DOES IT FOR ME...THAT IS MY MOTIVATION !!!

The super losers motivate me too. Now I realize I am one of those people--having lost and kept off 170 lbs. for over 18 months. So that motivates me too-realizing that I inspire others and will disappoint them if I regain. I LOVE SPARK!!!
