I use a power chair most of the time, with short walks between den and bedroom, or den and bathroom, etc. Recently, I asked the doctor to order a rollator. For those not familiar with the term, it is a rolling walker with a seat and handbrakes. I received the rollator the same day that I made that request. I have used it in my house a few times and then a couple of days ago, I took a huge step forward. I walked two blocks with it. I had to sit and rest seven times, but I did it. Today I plan to do it again.

Today, 09-12-12, was the FIRST day that I have walked for exercise. Once I got out the door I knew I could and would do it but taking that first baby step was really hard. Now I can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Bonnie
