yep, meds can make it harder to lose, but you can still do it.

That's so true! I was on a round of steroids the first time I lost weight and I didn't let it control my weight either.

I've been on prednisolone (steroids) for over a year now. Despite my doctor saying everyone gains weight with steroids, I've lost 73lbs this year. Woo hoo! Every time my dose was increased I had a temporary gain but I kept pushing on and the gains all disappeared and took a few more pounds along with them, even if it took a few weeks.

What I'm trying to say is that I've seen posts from people saying can taking such and such make you gain weight? The answer is no! Some medications increase your appetite and yes, that's tough but you are still in control of what you eat.
