Hi everyone, I missed brunch again. I think I sleep in too long on Sundays. Oh well. I think I could go for a Sunday roasted chicken dinner complete with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy. Lots of gravy of course. Add some acorn squash to this to be health hee hee, and a coca cola what more could anyone want? Oh how about some apple pie, and vanilla ice cream with a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream.

Hi Linda! What a lovely brunch spread. I see you saved some cake for me. Viktor, a pot of Irish breakfast with milk and sugar, please. I'll have the egg and pancetta pizza, followed by the cake this morning. Beautiful day out here on the gazebo, isn't it?

Sunday brunch at the cybercafe! So many choices, only so many plates. Well you wouldn't want syrup in your breakfast pizza, would you? I think I'll snag a table in the gazebo out on the terrace. A really big table. Let's see, the coffee pot goes there, the I can put the sweet plates on this side and the savory plates on the other. Now where is the plate of apricot ginger scones? Mm, Francois iced them just for me. There's a piece of the cake from last night for Eabl and a cinnamon bun for Zzyyggy and pots of cafe mocha and tea. Almost ready. Oh, here's Viktor with my vase of flowers. It's Spring. We should take some time to smell the flowers!

Hi Linda! Hi Zzyyggy! Actually, I think it's dessert first AND last sort of day. Oh wait, that's everyday for me emoticon

I'll have some of those chocolate covered caramels that Linda had, please Viktor. They looked really good. A glass of red wine too, please. I'll follow that up with a slice of better-than-sex cake. It's a perfect mix of chocolate cake, buttercream icing, drizzled with chocolate ganache and caramel. Yum!

Zzyyggy! I lost track of time this afternoon, how did it get to be so late? I seem to be missing at least two hours. I'll have thin mints with chocolate chip mint ice cream and fudge sauce, sprinkled with M&M's. Maybe later I'll have some mac and cheese. I know I'm doing this backward. It's a dessert first kind of day.

Hi everyone, Boy am I starving tonight. I took another hike around the cyber farm this afternoon, and the trails are great. Now for a late afternoon spent by the fire with a hot mug of cafe mocha and girl scout cookies. I know we still have some. I could really go for some pizza and wings tonight for dinner with a coca cola. For dessert how about some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Hello everyone - welcome to the cyber-cafe to all of the newcomers! Those deluxe nachos that Zzyyggy had smelled really good. I'll try those, please, with a glass of pinot noir. More birthday cake for dessert, please. Maybe we should celebrating our birthday every month? Any excuse for cake, I say...

Everybody's orders has made me decide on the Nachos Deluxe platter for me, please, Viktor. Iced tea with dinner, and a pot of hot tea for dessert. Ah, dessert. More of Eabl's birthday cake or a brownie with white icing? I bet I could put a piece of cake on top of the brownie, since the brownie would make a nice crust, sort of.

I'm going to sit at the table close to the fireplace. It was 87 degrees two days ago, but now it's 57 degrees and I'm freezing!

I would like to start with a big bowl of chips and hot sauce while waiting on my beef & cheese chimichanga. Of course, I'll need a tall cold Corona to wash it all down. Then to finish it off I'll have not one, but two steaming hot sopapillas with dripping butter.

I'M WORTH IT!!!

Mac and cheese? Dessert? Sounds good to me! I've been too busy lately to drop by, so it's good to see you all. What are we having for dessert? Cake is always good. It's my birthday tomorrow, so I think I'll have a piece of yellow birthday cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Make sure I get lots of roses on my slice please, Viktor. Maybe a little ice cream on the side would be good.

Hi everyone. I think I'll hit the hot tub tonight out by the pool. I just spent the day cross country skiing all over the cyber farm, and looking in on the animals. They all seem to be doing good. In the real world I did a lot of walking today so my legs are soar. I'll take an iced café mocha out by the hot tub. For dinner I could go for some roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, and peas and a coca cola. For dessert how about some Klondike bars. Aaaaaah the water feels nice, and the bubbles are fun.

I think I'll have some barbecue chicken, potato salad, and corn on the cob with biscuits, and a coca cola. While I'm enjoying the sunshine I think I'll have an iced café mocha and a plate of assorted girl scout cookies.

Hi everyone, Ooops sorry for tracking in the snow, hard to shake off sometimes. Today is not that bad in the real world. Lots of sunshine and very mild temps at 30 degrees. No wind blowing which makes a huge difference. Tonight I could go for some fried scallops, baked potato with lots of butter, and a bowl of french onion soup. A large coca cola with that. For dessert how about some klondike bars and a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream. How about a movie marathon tonight with lots of popcorn. I'm up for watching just about anything

Hi everyone. I can't believe we missed national Pi day on Tuesday. Oh well we'll just have to make up for it tonight then. For dinner I'll start off with a good ole chicken pot pie, rolls, and coca cola. For dessert the guys have set up a pie and ice cream bar. I'll start off with apple and vanilla, and then blueberry, and then...Also a hot mug of café mocha with whipped cream. Snow has stopped and it's quite pleasant around here in the real world but boy do we have a ton of snow.

Hi everyone, coming to you from snowedinVermont. Everything is shut down today even the busses. I'm so glad I don't have to work. All the surrounding schools, and colleges are closed down as well. Hi everyone, Spending the afternoon by the cyber fire sounds like a good idea to me today. I think I'll go for a complete Thanksgiving dinner with Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean cassarole, rolls, coca cola, and cream cheese stuffed celery. for dessert how about some pumpkin pie, and a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream.

Happy anniversary, Linda!!! Let's celebrate with some wine and cookies by the fire. More mocha for Zzyyggy, too, Viktor. We know she can handle it!

Hi everyone, congradulations on the wedding anniversary Linda. I know what you mean about the years going by. Yestarday was one of my nephew's 49th birthday and his brother put a picture of the two of them when they were younger on Facebook. Where do the years go? I'll ponder that over some seafood chowder and bread and butter for dipping. A glass of coca cola would be good with that. For dessert how about some warm cookies from the oven, and a hot mug of café mocha with whipped cream. It's cold outside here in the real world.

Hi, Zzyyggy! Meatballs on the garlic bread with melted provolone for me. Tea would be great and, of course, some Mimosa cake and a cannoli for dessert. I could have had a cannoli IRL this afternoon but those annoying food allergies made me decide it wasn't worth it. Besides, I'd already had some goat cheese, something I'll pay dearly for, but Sweetie and I were celebrating our 43rd anniversary. Not sure how that happened--it can't possibly be that many years.

Hi everyone, Glad to see you back Linda. I think an evening by the fire would be perfect tonight. A nice hot mug of cafe mocha and warm cookies from the oven. I'll put my dinner order in early and then read by the fire to see who comes in. For dinner how about a big ole plate of spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some of that cake Linda and Eable had last night.

Hi Zzyygy! Hi Linda! Hi Moxie! So glad that you're both out of the doghouse, Linda. They do say that the way to a man's heart....

I just read this article about International Women's Day in Italy. It's been a holiday for years. The women all leave the house in the evening, wearing yellow, and gather in restaurants to eat, chat, and drink wine. Museums are free for women that day, and many restaurants offer a discount. There's even a special cake they make, called a mimosa cake, to celebrate the day.

So guess what? Francois has made us a mimosa cake. Viktor's bringing it out with the wine. Who wants a piece?

Here's the story (and a picture of the cake):

Enjoy! Here's to us, ladies!

Took Sweetie out for dinner for his birthday and spent some quality time together. We went to a garden store and bought some perennials for the front garden. Big excitement! Moxie has been spending the last couple of days at my house chasing the new neighbor's cat. We're back!

Hey folks! Glad to see so many are finding out that the cyber cafe is the place to fulfill all needs (okay, wants :-). Speaking of which I'm in serious need of some pizza. I'd like mine with white sauce and artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, and mushrooms. A glass of pinot grigio with that, please, Viktor.

For dessert, I'll have a large slice of Italian cream cake. Yum!

I think I'll join you by the fire, Zzyyggy. It's dark and drizzly out there in the RW. Have you seen Linda yet? Or Moxie for that matter?

Hi everyone, busy place in here today. I'll take a table by the fireplace though. It's rainy and damp around here in the real world. I'll enjoy an afternoon of tea and scones, and a good book. For dinner I could go for prime rib, baked potato with lots of butter, and a salad, and coca cola. For dessert how about some homemade chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven and a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream. Hope Linda is out of the doghouse today.

Hi Suitable - how's that eclair?

Uh oh! Sounds like Linda's in the doghouse (move over Moxie, you've got company). Here Linda, a glass of this wine will make it even better than that tea.

I'm here for some comfort food. I think I want some of Francois's homemade chicken pot pie for dinner, with a glass of chardonnay. For dessert I'll have the dark chocolate caramel cake. I might need seconds of that.

Hey Zzyyggy! Scones! I like the apricot ginger scones with lemon curd. A cup of hot tea would be perfect. It's a dull, damp day and I forgot Sweetie's birthday. Not good. I've never done that before. The tea will make it better.

I'll have the roast chicken with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy, carrots, and please pass the biscuits. Zzyyggy, if the air at the cybercafe is tropical then I'll have a bad hair day. Although some humidity would be nice. It's been in the 50's IRL and my house is very dry. Not to worry though, the air conditioning will be on this week because the temperature is supposed to be in the 70's. Sweetie likes it cold.

Francois made lemon tartlets with coconut pecan crust. Yum.

Hi everyone! How lovely, they're serving tea again this afternoon. Viktor, I'll just join Zzyyggy out there on the terrace. Please bring me a pot of Yunnan with milk and sugar, some scones with curd and cream, and tea sandwiches, if you will. I'll help myself to the pastry bar that Francois has set up for afters.

Hi everyone, another cold day in the real world, but with the sun shining though. I think I'll hang out on the terrace though in the warm sultry tropical air of the cyber cafe. I think I'll have pot of tea and scones while I read a book, and enjoy the warm sunshine. For dinner I'll go for the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy with corn on the cob and butter, and biscuits. An icy cold coca cola would be good with that. For dessert how about some warm chocolate chip cookies from the oven an a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream.

Hi everyone, I think I'll join Eable out on the terrace but don't laugh if I order soup, and hot drinks. It's cold around here in the real world even though the sun is out. I'll join Eable for a pot of tea, and those savoring treats she's having. For dinner I'll have a bowl of good ole fashion beef stew with plenty of bread and butter for dipping. Coca cola with that please. For dessert how about a hot mug of cafe mocha and some brownies hot out of the oven.

Hmmm.. quiet in here today. I've come for tea. I'll have a plate of the assorted savories, please Viktor, some scones, lemon curd, and clotted cream, and whatever little delicacies Francois has whipped up for today. A pot of darjeeling with milk and sugar, with that. I'll sit out on the patio and watch the cyber farm animals chasing each other around the field.

Fuzzy bunny slippers for me! Mac and cheese, onion soup, and that warm, crusty bread sounds good. Warm apple crisp with hard sauce for dessert, please, Viktor. I've been watching all the Stranger Things episodes on Netflix.

Popcorn for movie night! Caramel popcorn drizzled with chocolate and M&M's and jelly beans.

Hi all! Mac and cheese sounds great to me for dinner tonight. Thanks for the suggestion, Linda. Viktor, please ask Francois to make mine with crab meat in it. I'll have that with a glass of chardonnay.

Cold and windy in the RW today, so it's nice to get away to the cafe where it's perfect patio weather. After dinner, I'll have some more wine with some caramels covered with dark chocolate and sea salt, then just sit out here and enjoy the evening. Movie later, anyone?

Hi everyone. Boy did our temperature drop like a rock this morning. It went from 40 degrees to 23 in 2 hours. Brrrrrrr, and the wind was cold. I think I'll snuggle up by the fireplace with a nice warm blanket and my bunny slipper with a hot mug of cafe mocha with whipped cream, and a plate of girl scout cookies. For dinner I could go for some french onion soup, lots of cheese with that, and a coca cola. For dessert how about some of those klondike bars. Aaaahhh a nice warm fire is perfect.

Hey, Zzyyggy and Eabl. Did y'all miss each other this afternoon? Hm, prime rib and high tea. I'll have some of both with a side of mac and cheese. Eabl, did you know that apricot scones taste really good with mac and cheese?

We're not having rain IRL, Eabl, just cloudy, but there are tornado warnings just north of us. Ah, Spring!

I saw a recipe for sticky buns that sounded good. Instead of cinnamon and brown sugar, they were lemon sticky buns. Viktor, I'd like some of those for dessert, please.

Hello? looo? ooo? Oh my! It's so quiet in here there's an echo! Well, I'll just pull up a chair on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. The RW is dreary and drippy, so this is a nice break. Not sure where everyone is, but the guys left a tea buffet set up along the wall, so I'll just help myself. I'll make up a pot of the Yunnan and try some of these little turkey and mango chutney sandwiches. Those mini croissants stuffed with chicken salad with walnuts and craisins look good. I'll also try a curried egg salad sandwich and some dark rye toast points topped with cream cheese, cucumber, or smoked salmon and dill. Oh, Francois made some apricot scones! I'll have one of those with some apricot ginger jam and clotted cream.

This is enough for now, I think. I'll be back to try some of those little miniature treats for dessert. Then, I'll settle in for a good read until someone else shows up.

Hi everyone, I'm here early again today. I could go for a roast beef grinder for lunch with the works, bacon, and cheddar cheese. A potato salad with that, and an ice cold coca cola would be perfect. Then I'll enjoy an afternoon out by the pool, and dive in for a swim. After lunch I'll spend the afternoon sipping an iced cafe mocha and reading on the terrace.

Zzyyggy! It's nice out here by the pool. Good afternoon for a sundae. Viktor, make mine chocolate chip mint ice cream with hot fudge sauce and a sleeve of thin mints, please. A little bit of creme de menthe in my cafe mocha should fix that right up.

Now I can spend the afternoon reading my new book, The Last Policeman.
