sshhhh! Eabl's still asleep in her recliner. I'll just tiptoe in and get a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun. Wonder how Choowy's doing this morning. Bet they have her up and out of bed today. Rehab is a must with hip surgery.

Is there room for a third? That dinner sounds great - I'll have that, too. Some wine with that, please, Viktor! After dinner, I think I'm up for another snooze in a recliner. Too tired for a movie, but don't let me stop you from watching one. I think I can just sleep right through it zzzzzzz......

Hi everyone. Boy that fire sure looks inviting. It's been nothing but rain around here the last couple of days. Also dark and dreary. I could really go for a large bowl of seafood chowder with lots of bread to dunk in, a large icy cold coca cola. Then I'll move on the a fried seafood platter with clams, oysters, scallops, and haddock. Tarter sauce, and french fries with that. For dessert a large slice of chocolate/vanilla ice cream cake, and my usual cafe mocha

Wow, it's so quiet in here today...

It was lunchtime in the great Pacific Northwest as of when I left home to come here, and I've got a craving for some good old Beef Au Jus.

While we're waiting on Francois to work his magic in the kitchen, Viktor, I'll start with a tossed green salad and a tall glass of iced tea with lots of lemon.

We've been enduring the season's first real storm here on the coast the past few days, while dealing with plumbing problems. More water than we could mentally cope with coming out of the sky, no water coming out of the faucets...how ironic is that, Viktor? lol

For dessert, I think I'll have a perfectly ripe pear, since they're in season right now and wonderfully sweet. Have Francois match it with a suitable cheese - maybe a well ripened Gorganzola or whatever he suggests.

After that I think I'll go back home to the RW and take the dogs for a walk now that the rain has stopped. It's been raining so hard that you'd think I'd need a snorkel to get out to the car and pontoons to drive it, so it will be good to get out and stretch my legs. Maybe I'd be more of a winter person if I moved to where it snowed instead of raining so much...

Anyway, thanks for lunch and conversation, Viktor.

I got here early this morning to nibble on my cinnamon bun and found Eabl asleep in here recliner. Hope she wasn't late for work. Sent some medicinal chocolate to Choowy. Francois says he's going to send a basket via Cinnamon Bun (the alpaca, not the pastry).

I'd like a piece of the pumpkin spice cake, but instead of cream cheese icing I'd like chocolate buttercream, please. Do sixlets come in a pumpkin flavor? I'll take some of those and a pot of coffee with cream and sugar. Thanks.

Hi all! Let's have a special cinnamon bun breakfast tomorrow in Choowy's honor. We'll send good thoughts her way so that she'll be back among us before long.

Pizza sounds good tonight. I'll have a sausage and mushroom pizza with a glass of zin. Maybe some cannoli for dessert. I'm pretty tired tonight, so I think I'll just kick back on a recliner after dinner and snooze.

I'll have one of Francois' gourmet pizzas, please. A glass of house red will do. Zzyyggy, I think I'll join you for dessert with a warm cafe mocha and a plate or two of warm chocolate chip cookies. We could make some of the cookies cold and fill them with ice cream and then roll the sides in mini M&M's. Yum!

Gee, I was going to have what Themfolks had for dinner last night. The Boeuf Bourguignon sounded so yummy, but Eabl's order sounds good, too. I love mussels. Maybe I'll just have some of both since I can't decide.

Eabl that dessert looks wonderful, too! Sorry you're having crummy weather in the RW. We had a gorgeous day here. I'll come join you by the fireplace. I'll just sit in my recliner, put my feet up, put my tray table up, and enjoy the evening.

Karaoke, Barbz? Have you ever heard a mouse sing? I'm not so sure about this.

Helloooo? Wow, quiet in here. Well, never mind, quiet can be nice, too, every now and then. Viktor, I understand that Francois got a shipment of mussels in today. I'll have a big bowl of those please, steamed in white wine and butter with shallots. He also made a garlic aioli to go with his hand cut French fries. Sounds wonderful! I'll have that with a nice chardonnay, and a loaf of crusty bread to sop up all those tasty juices. Yum!

For dessert the ganache and creme anglaise crepes topped with raspberry puree drizzle and whipped cream sound perfect.

It's cold and drizzly in the RW, so I think I'll take that corner table near the fireplace and enjoy my dinner.

Hi all! Some great orders here today. Barb, that lobster ravioli smells great - I'll have some of that with some of that great bread Them ordered. A glass of chard with that, please, Viktor. Then for dessert, some of that apple pie Zzyyggy was eating, warmed and topped with a big scoop of cinnamon ice cream.

I saved you a place, Eabl, but the music suddenly shifted to 60's jukebox, someone dimmed the lights way down and I ended up looking for my shoes in the half-dark while the bluegrass band packed up to leave...but hey, the food was really good and I had a great time.

Kind of fun to let loose and dance like that once in a while. lol

Tonight I think I'll have some of Francois' famous Boeuf Bourguignon accompanied by some of that delicious fresh bread that I could smell baking all the way down the street...and a glass of your best Pinot Noir, if you would be so kind, Viktor...and for dessert, a bit of your rich, dense signature chocolate mousse with a little Chambord as an aperitif.

What can I say? I've had my bbq fling on the lawn; it's time for some serious French food. :)

Hi all,

Great that the party is still going! I'll have the stuffed pork chops tonight with the homemade applesauce and baked sweet potato. A glass of pinot noir with that, please, Viktor. Dessert? Hmmm.... I'll have a slice of that pumpkin cheesecake that Francois made today, with whipped cream and a chai latte.

Then, it'll be time for the music. Save me a seat, please, Themfolk!

This is SO COOL!

I *LOVE* bluegrass music, and I bet I could smell great barbecue from 40 miles away on the wrong end of a strong wind!

Viktor, I'll have some of that bbq chicken with baked beans, some of that yummy corn on the cob, cole slaw and a big slice of watermelon. If you don't mind I'll go out and find myself a place in the grass up close to the where the band's playing to sit and eat. Nothing like blue skies, bare feet, bluegrass music and a picnic!

Here I thought summer was over, and turns out I might get a sunburn dancing on the grass in this cybercafe! This sure makes my day!

And live music! Wow!

A round for the house, Viktor! Whatever they're having, I'll buy them a drink, but bring me a tall, cold glass of sweet tea.

For dessert, what could be more down-home grass-roots American than a slice of apple pie?

Listen! They're winding up to play Foggy Mountain Breakdown - kick your shoes off and lets dance! You're already tapping your foot - get on up and lets shake things up a little!

Since we're doing bluegrass again, I think I'll have some BBQ with some corn and coleslaw. A glass of malbec with that, please, Viktor. For dessert, I'd like to have a large slice of hummingbird cake.

That thin crust pizza looks delicious (Last night in the REAL world, DH and I planned to

Thank you Themfolks, Shkirk, and Barbz for leaving crumbs for little old mousy me. Lunch was yummy.

I'm in the mood for Roasted Chicken with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and carrots with caramelized onions served with a loaf of nice crusty warm bread. I'll have the peach custard pie and some vanilla ice cream, please.

Then later we can listen to the Blue Grass Strummers and I'll be ready for another bucket of M&M's and the subsequent chocolate coma.

Hi Eabl and everyone. I'm getting a late start this morning, too. Maybe it's the weather...? The sky above the cyber-entrance I used (I came in from the Pacific Coast side) is very darkly overcast and feels like it's going to explode into a rainstorm of some sort or worse. Very gloomy, brooding day.

Viktor, I can't honestly say whether it would be more appropriate to have a late breakfast or an early lunch...but I think I'll let my appetite decide for me.

I'd like a big, hot bowl of vegetable beef soup to warm me up, with bread and butter on the side and maybe some of chef's applesauce to finish the meal.

And coffee, please. Keep the coffee coming. I may become semi-conscious by noon. lol

Hi all! I'm having Barb's breakfast for dinner. It sounded so good. Instead of the coffee, though, I'll have a glass of wine. Hey, it's dinnertime, so that's okay!

For dessert, I'd like a piece of dark chocolate stout cake with cream cheese icing. Is there music later? I'd like to hang out here on the patio after dinner and listen to some music. How about a little bluegrass jam?

Here, Barb - Viktor packed you a to-go bag to take with you to the barn. He didn't want you to go without dinner.

I'm having the peach pie for dessert tonight - with cinnamon ice cream. Oh, but first I need dinner. Let's see... I'd like the duck breast with roasted winter squash, and wheat berry pomegranate pilaf please Viktor. A glass of pinot noir with that please. Then bring on the pie. Anybody care to join me?

Hey,
(ZZYY,,,had a good laugh...In the real world, I remember my mom warning me that I would
catch WORMS if we ever ate raw batter. Another crazy myth to scare kids, 'ya think?)

Skipping lunch today and going over to the cyber-barn to pet the ponies.

Hi guys you know what I could really go for. A big bowl of chocolate chip cookie batter. Just the batter. Or the frozen Pillsbury dough chocolate chip cookies. Also my usual cafe mocha. I guess I'm on a chocolate theme here.

Mmmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmm!!! Both for Linda's M&Ms and EABL's fried chicken suggestions.

I'm also going to add Taiwanese popcorn chicken, KFC hotwings (a guilty pleasure), Japanese chicken karaage to the tasting. Here you go everyone....you each get a bucket to load up! I'm going to tuck mine under my arm and set in the recliner next to Linda. Heaven.....I'm in heaven..........

A fried chicken tasting? What fun! Sign me up for that one. Let's make it an international event. Fried chicken recipes from around the globe. I'll start with the Vietnamese fried chicken with chili and garlic, then on to the chicken schnitzel, then I'll try the chicken camper, then some Korean chicken wings, then some good old fashioned southern fried chicken, then... well you get the idea!

I think I'll pair those with the appropriate beers. Any one else game?

I'm going to sit in my recliner this afternoon with a bucket of M&M's and a large pot of coffee. Maybe for dessert I'll have some cheese.

HI Zzyygg!

Nommers! I can always go for fried chicken with the works! Your orders up! Enjoy!

In the real world a few weeks back, my girlfriends and I had a fried chicken tasting lunch. We all brought an order of some of the best local fried chicken. It was sooooo fun! Not a bad entry in the bunch! Got to taste seven different kinds of fried chicken.....we were in heaven!

Hey Chowwy A belated welcome back. Hi everyone. Hey guys I could really go for an old fashion fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn on the cob with lots of butter. Plus home made bread with lots of butter, and an icy cold coca cola. For dessert how about some apple pie and vanilla ice cream with my favorite cafe mocha.

Oh the new folks have excellent orders! Just dream up your most wonderful, satisfying, luscious meal ever and post it here! Cyberly-speaking....it will be up in a jiff!

Mmmmmmmmm......the butternut squash ravioli are to die for! I'll start with that, and have a crusty baguette and crisp autumn pear salad with maple syrup vinaigrette, ribeye steak with garlic thyme butter whispered on top for my main course. Dessert.......ah, of course.....that pumpkin cheesecake that EABL is having sounds perfect.....

After dinner, I,ll stroll over to the cyberbarn and say hello to all the menagerie. I've missed them all....say, I,ll pack up some goodies from the larder to share with them.

As for a movie tonight. Well, In the real world last night I saw Guardians of the Galaxy......so that is my suggestion. What could be better than a rollicking sci-fi romp through the universe with a blaster totin' raccoon as one of the stars!

Hey, Linda! Glad to see you're still out here by the fire. I'll have a glass of Malbec, please, Viktor, and a late night snack of stilton with some pears and walnuts. After that, those little marzipan candies look good. I'll have the ones dipped in dark chocolate, please.

So, what's the movie?

YESICANYESIWILL that is a great order! Welcome to the cybercafe. Your order is up. Don't forget dessert. You never know when we might have s'mores out on the patio. Choowy started adding raspberry preserves to the s'mores. So yummy!

I can't decide, chocolate or cheese? Perhaps I'll start with the cheese after I have a few M&M's, of course. I'll start with the arugula salad with blue cheese and walnuts served with the basket of warm crusty bread. I'm thinking a glass of white wine would go nicely with that--a Pinot Grigio. Then let's move on to some butternut squash ravioli with some grated Romano heavily sprinkled over it. And then I'd like the cheese and fruit platter with the cutest little marzipan fruits, please.

I'll take that out on the terrace, please. Come on out and join me. Later this evening we'll start up the fire pits and serve dessert on the terrace, then go in by the fireplace or watch a movie in the cybertheater.

Grass fed burger, medium rare, topped with a thick slice of Emmenthaler, grilled mushrooms and onions, with a good smear of honey mustard, please. Oh, and those fries look and smell divine! I'll have those on the side, with a couple spears of pickle. To top it off, I'll have a peanut butter milkshake. I might be in a food coma for the rest of the weekend, but whatta way to go.

Choowy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've missed you! So glad to see you back again. And the cafe looks great! I can see you're making up for lost time. Make sure that you get up to the barn to see the animals. Mrs. Marley, the kids, Cinnamon Bun, Moxie and the cats have all asking about you.

I'll have the butternut squash ravioli with browned sage butter and walnuts. It smells heavenly. Some white wine with that, please Viktor. That pumpkin cheesecake has my name on it. I'll have that for dessert.

Scary movie? Sign me up!

Oh, Choowy, it's so good to see you! I love what you've done with the place. Mmmmm, the buffet looks wonderful! I think I'll just graze on down the line and have a nibble or more of everything. I'll even use a plate, although I might need Viktor to carry it for me. Choowy, you're right the cornbread with the honey butter is the best. Nom, nom, nom.

Hello Renata,

Nice to have you as my first customer of the evening! Welcome to the Harvest dinner at the cybercafe. Not only can you have all the beverages and that ice cream sundae that you asked for, but a whole array of autumn goodies at the buffet! Grab a plate and dig in!

We have different soups and stews to warm your cockles ( whatever those are....), stroganoffs and lasagnas, prime rib, steaks and chops.

Everything is hearty.....you will not roll away hungry! Please try some of our home baked corn bread with honey butter! The bees and cows have worked overtime to produce the best!

Dessert includes hot apple pie with cinnamon sauce, pumpkin and pecan pies ala mode, if you wish.

Enjoy!

Let's see, what shall we watch for the movie in the cyber theater tonight? Maybe something a little scary?

Barbz, you'll have to ask the boss, Chicchantal why we're in the south of France or just start reading from the beginning. We don't see the boss anymore. Although when she's here she's flirting with the staff and more. She has some great menus posted.

The cybercafe is anything you want it to be. My recliner, for instance, is inter-dimensional. So when spacebot would spew chocolate pudding about I could just disappear. You can also go back in time. Have lunch with Picasso, Matisse, or Renoir.

I'll just have some of that mac n' cheese, too. Yum!

Barbz, since the cyber cafe is located on the southern coast of France (in a small unknown cove), we have the whole ocean to play in! Since I'm a mouse, I just float my yacht on the cyberpool. Not only do we have a great cyberbeach, we have a lovely cyberfarm with a barn and animals and fields, wonderful mountains to hike in, and if you want a lake then Lake Cyber it is! Moxie, our resident dog; Mrs. Marley and her kids, the goats; Cinnamon Bun, the llama; and Useless and Sochi, the cats will all enjoy having a lake to frolic around!

Hi There,
Orange roasted chicken, potato croquettes, rice pudding, and a hot chocolate for me, hon.
Are we cruising on Lake Cyber to celebrate Columbus Day this weekend? My duffel bag is ready to go.

I'll have the Roasted Balsamic Chicken and Root Vegetables with a loaf of the warm bread and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, please. I saw a yummy pumpkin cheesecake pie that I just have to try for dessert here at the cybercafe. That will go great with my coffee.

It's one of those perfect days, not just here at the cybercafe, but in the RW, too. I know that there's something to recommend each season, but Fall is my favorite.

Wine? Yes, please! And cake, lots of cake. It's hump day and I need a little push to get over it. I want some deep, dark, chocolate cake with chocolate chips, and dark chocolate butter cream icing. Can I have that on a plate with raspberry puree, and a side of whipped cream, please? What? Too much? Okay, then, just dump the whipped cream on top!
