Philomena, best movie that I have seen in a while.

I saw Frozen and that is good too

Made it to my maintenance weight of 125 pounds.

Even though I have reached goal. I still don't know everything about weight loss.

Guardians of the Galaxy (first movie in a theater in 3+ years!) and it was very good. I'd recommend it (though we went to a drive in and missed some parts wrangling the toddler, so I'd suggest not doing that. ;)

Let's Be Cops or Guardians of the Galaxy, I'm not sure which was actually last but both were recently. I enjoyed both. Let's Be Cops was pretty funny. And Guardians of the Galaxy was action-packed and full of humor as well. I recommend either.

I watched The Other Woman... and would recommend it as a somewhat entertaining movie. Don't expect fine cinema there or a thought-provoking story line. But it was nice to see women band together instead of fighting each other for a change.

I would recommend because it shows women band together and go after the actual bad guy...the guy. But other than that there were funny moments, but it wasn't my favorite movie.

We watched Aliens on the TV yesterday. Maybe it is just because I remember watching it on the big screen way back when, but I liked it. Funny that I don't usually current releases in that genre. The last movie I saw at the theater was a Rifftrax showing of Sharknado. Rifftrax movies feature comedians in the background, giving commentary on the movie, which is always one that critics have panned for weak plots, bad acting, etc. If you remember Mystery Theater 3000, it is similar to that show.

TMNT - No, especially not if you're already a TMNT fan. Cliche, generic, Megan Fox is gorgeous, but I've never thought her acting was great. The turtles had little personality, one character trait each. Splinter looked awful. Not enough action, or martial arts. It was as disappointing as I guessed it would be. Transformers with turtles.

The Hundred Foot Journey w/Helen Mirren

I enjoyed it very much. A gentle, quiet movie.

If you like movies like the Grand Budapest Hotel and others along that vein you would probably like this. If action, broad comedy and adventure is more your speed, skip this movie.

BTW this is the first movie I have seen in forever that had absolutely no cussing in it.

Tammy was the last movie I saw and it was a movie that I wouldn't watch again. I would recommend seeing it, but wait until it comes out on red box or something like that.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It has become one of my feel good movies. It taught me to take the plunge!

Rewatched Gone With the Wind the other day, great movie. I won't watch most popular movies these days. I find most movies quite dumb really.

"If a person wants to be a part of your life, they will make an obvious effort to do so. Think twice before reserving a space in your heart for people who do not make an effort to stay."

"Your happiness is up to you. Whatever happened in your life to make you who you are up until this point is irrelevant. It is your responsibility now to take control and change your life to be what you want it to be. Energy and persistence conquer all things. Make time, not excuses."

"Novocaine" (2001) with Steve Martin
kind of a bizarre, dark comedy -- not bad but definitely not great
