Beverly Lewis' The Confession on the Hallmark Channel, based on the book of the same name. It's part of a trilogy and The Confession is book two. I enjoyed the movie, but the book was so much better, there was so much of left out of the movie. I haven't heard that the 3rd book will be made into a movie yet, but I am sure it will, with the way this movie ended with a few storylines left hanging.

W.E. - 2011 movie about Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII and his abdication. Their story was really interesting but the movie also followed a modern day woman, who was gorgeous by the way, who was obsessed with the story and who was also suffering in a horrible marriage. All in all, this was a movie best to be skipped - Madonna directed it and it was more like a music video than the compelling story it could have been...

The Great Gatsby- yes, I would recommend it. I thought it was very well done. I did not care for the music...it was not authentic to the time...but other than that, very good.

I finally got around to seeing Life of Pi. Wish I'd seen it in the movie theater and not on my 24-inch bedroom TV. What gorgeous cinematography. Beautiful movie.

Iron Man 3, lots of action and Downey was very comical. Yes I would recommend it.

The Big Wedding. It had quite a few laughs but not quite as good as I'd hoped. I would give it a B.

Just watched a weird but cute one called "Camille" with James Franco and Sienna Miller. Not sure I'd recommend it unless you are a James Franco fan. :)

The Ninth Gate with Johnny Depp which was made in 1999. It was on HBO tonight and my DH wanted to watch it. I had never heard of it and now I know why. I would not recommend it.

We rented "Trouble with the Curve" - think that's the title - it's with Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake & Amy Adams. Loved it - so did my hubby-would recommend for sure.

THE SESSIONS (2012) with Helen Hunt and John Hawkes (nudity) very touching little film about a disabled man, paralyzed by polio, who decides to use therapy to experience manhood. Intelligent look at sexuality and human relationships. very sweet and based on a true story.

Seen at the theater- The Hobbit. Really good, can't wait for the next one! Watched at home - The Perks of Being a Wallflower. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time, although it's a little dark subject-wise. I'd recommend it, though.

On the theater - Oz, the Great and Powerful. I liked it, hubby didn't. Beginning was slow, but then it picked up. Gorgeous color, tongue-in-cheek humor in places. At home, Les Miserables (after seeing it twice in the theater). I am completely in love with this story, as you might guess!

Burt Wonderstone with Steve Carrell, Jim Carrey & Steve Busciemi - DON"T waste your $$$$ - it played one week at my local theatre & that was it. SO bad - we laughed so much at it because of how stupid/pointless/ridicilous this movie was. Crazy to laugh at such garbage but we did.

Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp - knowing this was going to be "tongue in check" kind of horror movie my hubby and I really enjoyed it. Normally I "never" watch horror movies. We got a lot of laughs from it and enjoyed the music from the 70s.
