I really like the P90X workouts and I find myself going back to them over and over again throughout the past couple of years. But if you like the "Insanity" type workouts try Zuzka's workouts on YouTube. They are free and my opinion is that they are the same idea.

As a work-around for the pull ups without having a bar, you can hang a resistance band from the ceiling. One of the people in the video does that instead, as a modification. It does mean that you'll probably have to work at real pull ups once you do get a bar, but you can start with this.

Challenge yourself every day to do better and be better.

I just finished an Insanity rotation. I loved every single sweat dripping minute of it. I also have P90X and TapOutXT, but haven't tried them yet. I will probably start TapOut when I can't run outside anymore.
I'm holding on to P90X though because I think part of the program is the pull ups and I want to be able to do those and don't have a way to hang the bar at this point. Once I figure that out it's all systems go.

What you do each day is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

I am doing turbo fire and blogging about it. It is a good one. At the gym the other day an instructor said she wanted to try tapout. I want to look into it. I don't think you can rent any of the becahbody brand on any level. Some of them have a u-tube so you can try it. I know turbo fire has a u-tube.

Find my free blog chatthefat for the 27 rules I live by.
Thanks

Look for them at your library or on Netflix, etc, so you can try them before you buy. You might be surprised at how much your public library has.

I have P90X. It is a challenge. I am 47 and have exercised since I've been 14. Weight lifting, walking, running, biking etc. P90X is by far the most difficult program I've ever done. Worth it though. If you stick with it, you will get in shape. I had to modify some of the exercises because of injuries I have acquired over the years, but still a great workout. It's fun as well as a challenge and it made me feel good knowing I could get through something as difficult at my age.

I was putting on my shoes in my sister's living room before going outside and an INSANITY infomercial was on. I sat back and watched it for five minutes, pressed 'guide', and noticed another infomercial--TapouT. They somewhat remind me of the P90X program. I have only tried the yogaX with a friend a time or two. Anyway, I was curious if anyone has decided to order any of the following or have completed any of the follow; if so, what were your experiences?

Don't think then do, do then think.
