Right now my go to song is "Call me maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson. I can move to it even if I am having to sit in a chair in front of my computer at work. I saw a video on You tube with this song and a baseball team by the boys from Harvard baseball and it got me to movin my body. My new favourite song and I am not a young person at all. I love music that let's me move and this one does just that.
Sometimes one day, one hour, one minute or one second at a time is what it takes. As long as you are still moving towards that goal you will reach it.

Mine is Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff." Gets the anger flowing through me and puts it out there on the treadmill/pavement/elliptical/weights/etc.

The first song to "set the mood" for my workout playlist is The Bad Touch by Bloodhound Gang (I know, incredibly inappropriate! But awesome!). But the one that really gets me moving and sweating is Sandstorm by Darude. In fact, I have it on my list twice, once early on to get me moving harder, and once near the end when I tend to start flagging a little.
To get my Mo Jo moving in the right direction I like Richard Simmons Sweatin' to the Oldies....or just my TV channel that is all oldies...50s & 60s Golden Oldies! I am from the old school so that gets my motor runnin'!!
I may also say...I am looking for a partner who is motivated and working it to KICK some pounds with!! I like to listen to Christian Rock during my workouts or anytime I need some comfort. It seems like I can relate to something in the song from struggles to happiness. My belief is what keeps me inspired and hearing this kind of music makes me believe that I can improve myself to have a better mind, body and soul in the long run. Losing weight along the way is just a bonus!
