I love at home workout DVDs! I have 2 young children so it makes it convenient for me to do at home before work in the mornings or after work before dinner. I'm really into Zumba right now and I had great results when I did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I get bored with them too at times so switching it up with running and workouts at the gym are nice.

Yes I do like dvds ive got a range for variety Yoga, Pilates, Cardio, Strengh you name it!lol, Would say the best 2 I have though are by New YOork trainer David Kircsh Lower Body & Upper Body. It does get repetitive after a while though hence me having a variety.

At the moment though im doing "Just Dance" on the wii combined with some of my own circuit strength training.

DVDS!!! Love to get up at 5:30 AM and workout when everyone is sleeping. My time.

Currently doing (at a low impact modified pace - due to knee injuries) Chris Freytag's 10 lbs. Slimdown Xtreme. Chris is friendly, motiviating and encouraging.

I love many of the Crunch workouts. But, my new favorite is the 10 minute solution dvds. I currently got hooked into the Bootcamp one, Pilates, and 5 day get fit mix. These dvds have 5 segments of 10minutes each. You can also program your dvd to play the segments you want in the order you want. I truly love these dvds and its easier than trying to get to a gym, for me.

I say yes to exercise videos, but I must admit that I do get bored of them more easily than going for a run or going to a class at the gym. They are also a lot easier to turn off, whereas I feel like people will look at me if I leave a class early. :)

My favourites are Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and Yoga Meltdown and Zumba. I also like the 10 Minute Solution series. I used to watch a lot of them on Netflix.

Yes. I belong to a gym but lately have gotten bored with it and have gone back to my Leslie Sansone videos. I have a library full but I particularly like her newest ones. I lost about 50 pounds 10 years ago on Weight Watchers, and the Leslie Sansone tapes were really my only exercise at the time. I like being able to work out in my living room, in my own time.

Yes. Although I go to the gym regularly, I like to use Leslie Sansone's WATP series and Billy Blanks' Tae Bo for occasional home work outs. It adds variety and provides the option to always fit in a work out whenever the gym is not convenient.

I've got Biggest Loser and Bob Harper DVD's and I love them. Full workouts in an hour. Tough to get through some days but I can do it in my living room - with a couple of hand weights. no extra equipment needed. Burns fat. Quick and easy. and I work harder when I'm doing DVD - push myself to go through the whole thing...
The BL ones have 3 different levels so you can work up to the top level in 6 weeks - or pick and choose which workout to do. I like the flexibility - and each has a warm up and cool down.

I borrow the DVD's from the library first to try out - if I like I go on Amazon and buy. It saved me a bunch cause I only have ones I like on hand now.

Yes, the weight I've lost so far, starting back in October, has been done exclusivley with workout dvd's at home. The ones that I have stuck with and found the biggest results are anything Jillian Michaels. She is the only one that puts together challenging, but doable moves, and gives me the most workout in the shortest amount of time (generally around 30 minutes). But, I also like Amy Dixon dvd's, P90X and it's shorter, cheaper version sold in regualr stores - Supreme 90 Day. I love that you can work out at home, not in an overcrowded gym, do challenging moves that you would probably never think to do at the gym since most people typically graivate towards a machine at the gym, I can wear whatever I want to workout at home, and I can take a shower immediately afterwards! Can't beat it :)

I so wish I could get me a copy of the Solid Gold 5 day workout on DVD. There is so much variety and each day you had a certain part you would work on for about 20 minutes each, the music was great and it was so much fun! Of course my VHS went caput. Otherwise I like the original Taebo Advanced. If you do it daily at least 5 days, you will see a difference within 30 day where as people will stop you and say what's going on here.....you losing weight....and really you are losing inches....so yes to the "Right" workout video

I love workout videos! Check out the NYC Ballet Workout, it's my absolute favorite. The Spark People videos are another option, they're short and easily adjustable to your fitness level (plus, they're free!). If you have Netflix or Amazon Prime, there are some workout options on there as well. I've been trying out lots of different kinds - zumba, other dance, kickboxing, yoga, pilates, etc... Find something you can look forward to!

I just tried Jillian's 30 Day Shred for the first time today - I loved it! A twenty-minute work-out in my own living room? I can totally handle that!

I've also had good luck finding yoga videos for free on hulu.com. I like the variety.

For me, I'm much more likely to challenge myself if I have someone urging me on, even if it's just a person on the TV screen :) I could totally tell today that I was working harder than I usually do during a bike ride or run.

I'm a huge fan of workout dvds, especially if you're working out to them with a partner.
I've had a lot of success with the Jillian Michaels dvds, and she always comes out with new and improved dvds to add continuous challenge

After my accident in January 2011, I was told by both my chiropractor & doctor I needed to slow things down a bit during my treatment sessions. So, I took up Pilates & walking.

For low impact exercise, my video picks include: Winsor Pilates (Ab Sculpting, Bun & Thigh Sculpting, Accelerated Body Sculpting), Gaiam (Quick Start Pilates, Pilates Core Challenge), Leslie Sansone: Walk at Home, Crunch: Super Slimdown Pilates Yoga Blend.

For those not interested in Pilates, I suggest: Target Toning (4-DVD Set including: Total Toning + Cardio, Core Strength, Head-to-Toe Toning, & Body Weight Toning), The Biggest Loser: The Workout w/ Bob Harper, SparkPeople 28 Day Boot Camp.

I use Leslie Sansome Walk Away the Pounds....either the 2 or 3 mile workout. I started "religiously" this month, because of the SparkPeople Fitness Challenge. Videos take away all the excuses of no time, bad weather, it's too late.....that I used.....when I walked outside!

Yes, I am currently doing Chalene Johnsons Turbo Fire. I am not coordinated at all, but it is easy to keep up with her work outs and even if you do get lost or stop with water, its easy to get right back into it. And she incoorperates a lot of the same moves, but no two workouts feel the same, it just makes it easier to know what youre doing for each one so you can give it the most intensity.

Yes I own several of them, Brazilian butt lift, Jillian biggest loser, wii fit. biggest loser wii, Zumba wii, turbo jam. I think that's all of them. I use to use them a few times a week. now I don't really have the room to use them. hopefully some day in the near future, my house will have less people in it. lol And I will have my living room back. Even though I can't do them because the lack of room, I still watch them to stay motivated and try to incorporate some of the moves while walking on the trail. even working around the house you can pick up something off the floor that requires a leg lift, from the Brazilian butt lift video. or a squat here and there. my least favorite is the turbo jam, hard on the back. and Zumba wii hard to follow, I do better free dance style.

I will get there. Just keep moving forward.

YES!!! Anything Leslie Sanone... I am not very coordinated and her walk dvds work your whole buddy. I also love her upbeat attitude while she is doing them and the fact that she uses people of all different sizes. I don't like to exercise while watching a bunch of beautiful women with figures of a model it makes me feel bad about myself.

Yes - started last April with 10 minute toning videos, then moved up to P90X, then a mix of P90X and Insanity. Now I'm training for a race - so I'm doing P90X upper body routines two days a week, running four days, and doing the "10 minute toning" or "Slim In 6" lower body/abs toning videos with my wife as an extra.

I've found that for the weight training routines, using a video helps me keep pace, where otherwise I'll take too long of a break. Since I like to keep my heart rate up and get the circuit-training effect, long breaks aren't a good thing.

I'm not into going to an actual gym - my schedule is too variable for classes, and I often work out too early for scheduled classes.

We have many different workout DVD's for everything from weights to cardio to yoga to pilates etc... Right now we are really enjoying the Skoggs Kettlebell workout series - 5 DVD's with 4 levels each. We are currently on week 5 of a 12 week program and will finally have touched all 5 DVD's by the end of this week. As mentioned earlier, with children it is much more difficult to go to a gym, especially if you're trying to workout before work. Currently we get up between 4:30-5:00 AM just to be able to workout, shower, get ready and get the kids ready and dropped off to daycare and school for the day and make it to work on time - LOL

YES! I have been doing DVD's. Jillian's 30 day shred first and now her no more trouble zones. I've been dieting for 3 months, 3 weeks and have lost 41 pounds. DVD's are 3 days a week I walk 4 times a week at least. I own more of Jillian and will be using them as I progress.emoticon

Absolutely!! It took the birth of my second child for me to realize that the gym wasn't my most convenient option anymore. Between finding SparkPeople and The Firm series I was able to drop all my pregnancy weight and ten extra pounds. Now I alternate between Zumba, P90X, and The Firm. For me this is the most time efficient way to get in a good workout.

I love workout dvd's because I'm a loaner. I get to take part in various activites (zumba, yoga, and kickboxing are some of my favorites) in the comfort of my own home. I love Leslie Sansone because I am very uncordinated and get frustrated when I can't keep up but her's go at a nice pace and the moves are easy so I don't trip myself up.
