Right now I'm only at home exerciser so I do lots of DVD's. Right now I'm loving Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and Ballet Beautiful Body Blast (the swan arms section is killer). Actually one of the things I'm doing on my spark blog is reviewing some of the DVD's I'm doing. Some are fun and some like the dancercize dvd I got from target are pretty aweful.

Typically, a go to the gym. But when weather or time does not permit, I use videos. I have several of the Biggest Losers ones and love them. Also, have a Latin Dance and a weight-loss yoga. I don't think I could do just videos; I need and like variety. I admit I work harder in classes at the gym than at home -- but I still get a great workout at home.

I just started doing Tracy Anderson but I also love the MTV Yoga workout with Kristin McGee. after trying other Yoga DVD's, I'm hooked on this one. She really knows how to get the most out of your muscles. Both Anderson and McGee know how to work your body in a feminine way without bulking up.

I did a great 10 in 10 exercise. I am horrible at getting motivated to exercise and this is 10 different exercises in 10 minutes. I want to share with as many people that will listen mostly because I don't want this lady to stop making them :) but more importantly I get all kinds of support from this site so i want to share my great fitness tips with everyone.
There is a whole free series on Youtube. I discovered that this fitness trainer has a great blog too - where all the 10 in 10 videos are posted - check it out - there are videos for core, for full body, just for legs, arms, strength. Its great! You can get to videos right on home page. blog.yvettesalva.com

I haven't bought any new videos in years. I usually work out at the Y, but when I can't get there I've recently taken to doing zumba workouts through youtube.

My favorite, that can be done at any fitness level, and you don't have to be a talented "dancer" or anything, the steps are easy to follow, its the pace that burns the calories: Leslie Sansone "Walk Away the Pounds" You don't need much room to do all the moves, she has a 3 mile walk DVD, its low impact and you can stop after 15 minutes, 30 or 45.... They are sold at Walmart, Amazon.com and ebay

I have so much fun with the Flirty Girl DVDs but they're still hard for me. They're not quite risque but they make me feel sexy (because of how I IMAGINE I look, not how I'm sure I really do!) and besides, the only person who sees me is my DH and he says I'm sexy anyway. :)

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but try bodyrock.tv it's FREE and works way better than any of the exercise video's I've used. I've toned up so much faster since I switched to their workouts. They're short and sweet, and totally kick your butt. I LOVE them!

I love the freedom and flexibility of working out at home. You never have to worry about sitting in traffic on the way to the gym or waiting to use equipment because the gym is packed. I love the Beachbody workout videos. They are definitely worth the money! Just wanted to share that they are coming out with a Brazil Butt Lift Master Series soon! www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs /brazil-butt-lift-master-series-advanc ed-workout.do I don't know about you ladies but I'm always looking to tone up my bottom :) I've heard great things about the originial Brazil Butt Lift. This is something I'm definitely going to check out.

yes yes yes! I found a really cool website called Collagevideo.com where you can preview all workout videos before you purchase them and they also have several consumer reviews. My favorites are: Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones and her 90 Day Body Revolution, which I just finished. I also love Cathe Friedrich's "Muscle Max" and my all time favorite "Butts & Guts!" Now I'm on my second day of Insanity and I'm loving it!

personally dvds help me tremendously! they are a wonderful way to learn what works for you, and never ending supply of advice. i luv insanity, but i work at my own pace. px90 has very good workouts. now i am into the tapout workout, i wanna be an mma mamma! i know people who like zumba, but i can't dance and don't want to watch a room full of ladies workout. also i have heard very good reviews from friends for jillian michael's workouts; i respect and admire her and want to check it out.

I haven't used them but would if they came highly recommended. I did see an ad for one over the weekend (Brazilian butt workout?) that looked very targeted but I haven't looked into it yet. Is there a good beginners series out there that anyone can recommend?

Yes - working full time, having a daughter very active in school & theater it's the only way I'm going to get anything done! The Firm has always been one of my favorites - cardio/light weights, Pilates for weight loss, Yoga Zone and Dancercise (Salsa/Hip-Hop/Jazz on same DVD 30 min work outs). All of these have at lest 30 min workouts, w/firm express being 30 mins and regular 55-65 minutes.

YES! Nicole's Cardio Blast - I won it. It is the only DVD I have, but I do watch the ones on Spark People and try to remember some of the exercises because the computer is not where I can exercise. I WISH I could burn them to a DVD - only some of them let you print it, and not the ones I want most. There is NO WAY I can afford to buy, or rent them. I also WISH I had one that showed the correct form for some of the weight lifting exercises - that is what I do most. I have a DVD player. My internet connection is limited to 5G per month, so I can only watch a video at the end of the month if I still have data space left - that's why it's so hard to remember the exercises - I only get one really quick look....and only if it's a real short video. When I had unlimited internet access through my company, I did the desk workout every day - so I still remember most of those. I like Nicole better than anything I see on TV, so I don't even want those.
