I actually ordered these shake mixes a few days ago! My whole weight problem has been due to not eating enough (and now my metabolism is all but dead). I"ve never been a breakfast or lunch eater, choosing instead to power through my day on a couple cups of coffee. Not healthy, I know, but every effort I have ever made to 'eat right' was short lived. It's not that I don't know how, or am too lazy-- I'm just honestly not interested in food until late in the afternoon/early evening. So, figuring 'fake meals with real vitamins" are better than no meals and no vitamins-- I'm going to give this a shot. I'll update once I get them and have used them for a month. ;)

Only easy day was yesterday...

No I prefer not to substitute shakes for food! Yet I do enjoying making a great non dairy fruit smoothie after a really intense workout.

I have been using it for a month now and love it. I highly recommend them as they keep you full for several hours. My favorite is having one for dinner after a workout. I have also had them for breakfast and they always kept me full until Lunch. I have only bought the vanilla. My two favorite ways to make the vanilla is:
1 scoop powder, 8oz low fat chocolate milk tablespoon of almond butter and ice.
1 scoop powder, 8oz light almond milk and a frozen banana.

Just got mine delivered this morning and had a shake for breakfast. I ordered vanilla, and the taste was okay, not great. BUT - oh my gosh, this shake definitely suppressed my appetite for several hours!

I tried Ideal Shape Shakes for the first time this morning, and I just wanted to share my thoughts on them. It was surprisingly good. If anything a little to chocolatie. There is just a little bit of an after taste but the directions say to follow the shake with a glass of water and I found that by the time I finished the water the aftertaste was gone. Its been a few hours and I am still quite full and satisfied even though I mixed mine with water. The nutrition is great and I am so far very happy with them. I'll update again in a few days to let everyone know how its going. But so far I am quite pleased.

I had good luck with drinks back in the 1960's, Metrecal, lost a lot of weight with that, and SEGO cans, from the Pet milk company, remember those?? BUT, I was a teenager, didn't have to do the job of taking care of a family, house, yard, husband, etc., and that makes a big difference. Perhaps, if one is a single person, shakes would be helpful.............but not for the rest of ones life, you will go back to real food at some point, no matter how much you lose. Billion dollar business is still what it is. Shakes are good for EVENT dieting though.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

These shakes are awesome!

I have been taking one shake a day since July 9th for breakfast. Before this I would be hungry until lunch but now after taking this shake for breakfast I am not hungry anymore. I have noticed such a big difference while drinking these everyday. I also had a 2 week break off these in mid August and my weightloss did stop. I have lost 27 pounds since the beginning of July. While off of these I lost nothing. Now by no means is this a magical drink. I have ate 1200 calories a day and ran 6 days a week but I really feel that Ideal Shape has helped me in losing the weight and I like the taste of it and not being hungry after so I will continue taking them.

Just my two cents :)

I have been using them for 1 week now. I have lost 2 pounds but I have been trying to watch what I eat all around. I think they have really helped curb my sweet tooth. Plus, I like knowing that if I needed to, I could reach for one of these shakes instead of candy or ice cream.

I was surprised that I feel pretty good until lunch, with maybe a little fruit mid morning.

Personally, I like the way they taste, but I am sure they are not everyone's cup of tea. I have both chocolate and vanilla and like them equally. I don't take vitamins, so I like that they provide a good nutritional supplement.
