I lost not only the belly fat but also the fat from the thighs with Sibutramine 15 mg (that I bought from allgenericmedsnow.com) . In almost three months I lost almost 17.5kg with so little effort. I tried to include more fruits and vegetables in my diet, drink more water and three times a week I had tennis classes. In this rhythm I managed to get back in shape. I am truly content about my successes because now I can easily fit in my old dresses!

oops, I had to edit my previous post because I wrote that I was 100 pounds lighter than reality. Ya'll were probably giving me a fake pity party for being upset that I was only 139! lol Sorry about that. It's changed now.

I am 56 and the belly fat is slowly creeping in. I believe in cardio, calories in vs calories out.

I did my best today, tomorrow I will do even better.

Well, I'll be the guinea pig. I just started again on spark at the end of Sept. 2015. I've been doing the seated core workouts with Coach Nicole most every day. I've also picked up swimming. I REALLY feel the stretch through my upperlegs, belly and ribs. It feels great and I'm hoping I'm getting it in shape. I have noticed that I FEEL slimmer. I don't feel like I'm taking up as much space when I'm seated. I haven't measured yet, but I will soon and keep an eye on it.and come back to this post every once in a while. I began at about 246 and hit 239.5 last week. Obviously I have my work cut out for me.

Depends on which time, let's see, Richard Simmon's "Deal A Meal" helped me lose most of it, back in 1989, due to low fat, and the Dr. Phil plan also worked well, all the 5 other plans I did, I lost weight, but not necessarily belly stuff, it was all over the body, the way it usually should be, no such thing as "spot reducing", those are old books you are reading.

The first time I lost weight I lose 160 pounds. I went from a size 28/30 to a size 8/10. I still had belly fat. The only way it was going to go away is if I starved myself to very low body fat percentage or had surgery. I've learned to accept that I will always have belly fat no matter how much weight I lose.

Exercise is my Prozac.

For belly fat loss you need daily workouts. You can perform easy workouts at home, you dont need to buy expensive equipment or spend hours at the gym. Workouts like jump rope, plank, dancing, stair stepping you can try at home.

Sorry about that. But you right now it is not important to have six packs instantly. You can atleast go for reduce it. This may be in any way that means by diet and exercise. It is not one day job, we all know that. It will take its time. Now, you can start with guidelines in this bolg

As I lose weight my belly is going down but like HHUGHES71 I've had 3 c-sections so I'm never going to look like I have a six pack. On the bright side I only look 4 or 5 months pregnant compared to the 9 months pregnant I looked before I started to lose the weight.

Basically fasting is not a way to weight lose. It is a common misconception about diet. Your body needs fuel to run. Just you have to conscious about what you are eating and concentrate on what you don't have to eat like fatty food, high process food. A proper diet will be complementary to your workouts.

Yes. With proper diet and exercise it is possible. Surgery is not a best option for the belly fat, because it may cause again. And if you are older surgery may not suit your body.
It is helpful if you change your food habit including proper diet like oat, green vegetables, etc and exercise daily on your belly will help you lot.
I made daily walk, running and yoga as part of my life. I give 45 min in morning to do these. It gives me results. it took time and efforts but shown the positive results.

A woman at my job started running and dropped about 100 lbs and she pretty much lost all of her belly doing so. I've always thought it depended on your susceptibility to gaining weight. Like some people gain that spare tire and some have that stomach that looks like your pregnant. My father when you looked at him from the back he didn't look heavy but if he turned around he looked as if he was having twins. I gain weight like that and people used to ask me all the time if i was pregnant.

It is also working the total body, however I've had that last few pounds and/or bully fat which the hardest places to lose are the last places we do. With a healthy environment at work, we use the rolling wheel and pushups which we track daily. It has helped as I don't include it in my fitness tracking. Running worked for me when I was at my thinnest. The diet I use to get my last few pounds off that works for me is still the Scarsdale! I like it as I can still drink my Diet Pepsi. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Abdominoplasty. About 20 years ago. Cost about the same as a second hand car, and one of the best things I ever did. But if I put on weight, it goes in other places so I have to be careful.

The other best thing I did was never learn to drive - so I walk everywhere. If I'd actually bought a car instead, I'd be very overweight by now

There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

If you have a normal BMI and still have a little tummy, there is not much you can do about it unless you have surgery. We all carry our weight in different places and if you gave birth you have stretched out that area.

The belly is the last area I'm struggling with. However as I work on strengthening my legs - the abdominal muscles are firming up too. It's slow but I see some progress.

it is one of the toughest areas for most people (us women especially). It took me a lot of time just to mine down a little. For most it is the last thing to go and the first thing they notice when gaining.

I have a hard time with belly fat too. I have less than 10 lb to my goal weight and my belly is still super jiggly. I can't imagine it will all go away with the 10 lb.

You cannot spot treat area.. You will have to lose weight everywhere and eventually it will go down.

One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.

No but it is going down after not moving for 8 months.

I read that this could be the last to go.

I've read up on this, and belly fat isn't any different from any other fat. If you eat right and exercise, you'll burn stored fat, no matter where it's located. Muscle tone is another issue; you can do various exercises to tone your core. If you click on the "View SparkPoints" link under "Today on SparkPeople" to the right of your screen, then scroll down the list until you see something about watching a video, there is a whole section of videos on great exercises to tone various parts of your body.

I have not lost all my belly fat yet but I'm working on it. I have an Ab Doer Twist its like sitting in a chair so I do a lot of upright crunches, rotations, bobs it really works everything in the center & lower regions that us older women have a really hard time getting rid of. I had lost 11 lbs before SP. then I got stuck I was working out but nothing was going away now that I am changing my eating habits. this is my 3rd week as of the 23rd here at SP. I have lost 2 lbs and 6 inches.and my belly fat is shrinking I can actually grab it with one hand now instead of 2

When I started my weightloss journey I began lifting weights. I have lost almost 40 pounds and have remarkably maintained that loss and am now determined to lose more. I have to say weight lifting was the key for me. I burned more calories as a result of muscle mass and when I did "fall off of my plan" I had minimal gain if at all.

I love how strong I am and how I can spring back from and injury far quicker than my peer group. Approaching 60 I have been thrown from my horse twice in the last few months and although I was sore I was not seriously broken. I associate that with my improved physical condition from diet and exercise.

Belly fat is something that really bugs me too but as I get in better shape I am noticing that spot improves with the rest.
