theyre usually food rewards but i am going to work on changing that. i think accessories sound nice! :)

I bought a bottle of pricey perfume that I have wanted for awhile. It is sitting on my dresser waiting for me to reach my next mini goal which will be either tomorrow or the week after. Can't wait to smell good and sexy :)

i no longer believe in rewards hinged on weight loss. sometimes just the effort, thought and organization you put into staying on track is worthy of reward - much more on pounds lost. this week for me is a perfect example of that - i stayed on track, walked the Cancer walk (17 miles out of 25), chose very carefully from the provisions offered along the way, went to the celebratory ceremonies and ate the undressed salad and white chicken meat - nothing else (and believe me there were goodies galore, free beer, wine etc) and lost ONE POUND. do you think i would consider a reward for only ONE POUND - no!!!!! but for all that went into it - i am treating myself - some new makeup, outfit and mani - pedi - I DESERVE ITl. so girl reward yourself for other than weight = you are worth it too!!!!! Well I can lie and say I plan what I'm going to do, but usually when I have a big loss or I reach a goal, I "reward" myself with something like a huge piece of cake. I always eat something "good" when I've had a good loss. Just once, maybe once all day, then I get right back on it.
Haha Sarahluvbug I like! I'm going to have beauty treatment style ones, not things I have regularly, but treats, like a full body massage, spray tan, new tattoo etc.

I make myself minigoals and when I reach them I reward myself with something that will also help aid me in my healthy lifestyle. 5lbs lost I bought myself an apple corer, 15lbs lost I bought myself the biggest loser cook book, 20lbs lost I got a new non-stick mini pan perfect for single servings.
That way i wasn't like "Oh, I lost 5 lbs so I can have a candy bar"...that defeats the purpose! =)

For every 5 lbs a magazine or something small (my first was a Cosmo), then after 10% of weight loss my husband is giving me an hour of pampering. Being able to wear my wedding rings again will be an awesome reward and because I have decided not to buy a lot of new clothes until I'm at goal I decided to buy a favourite bottle of perfume. Those are the first 3 rewards, I have 6 goals total. With a bonus goal.
