Hey Gardening Friends! I am always learning something new when gardening. Just thought I'd share some finding that I am sure you probably already know but.. for anyone new to gardening maybe you will find this useful.

Interesting. Do the ones that stayed in the smaller container ever catch up? Great science experiment for some kids. But have them do it with more than one veggie.

larger containers allow roots to have more room to grow and spread, plus there are more nutrients available, due to greater volume. If I buy plants at the store, but the ground or weather isn't cooperating and I can't transplant them right away, I try to put them in larger pots in the meantime. They definitely grow bigger, stronger, and healthier than ones left in the original containers.

Same age cauliflower planted on the same date but different container size makes a huge difference in plant growth.
